Fantastic review mate, I actually own a miniPro... this thing is freaking AWESOME..all my friends loved it!! First impressions of the miniPRO below Package: Really well and properly packed, reminded me the Apple products, looks like Ninebot/Segway put a lot of money and thought on every detail. Smartphone App: absolutely fantastic, provides information about EVERYTHING and you can adjust sensors, lights, speed, enable alarm, use as a real-time dashboard, remote control like a robot! How far can you go on a single charge: 30km at least. I can go to work and come back home at top speed + spend a lot of time playing around, give to my friends to try... it just feels like you have an endless battery, you get tired after about 7km riding it.. I would say it would be pretty hard to run out of battery as you ride. The charger fits in my pocket, slightly bigger than a laptop charger. Speed: 16kmh may not sound very fast but you realise the speed if you have to jump off... it's actually pretty fast and it peaks 17-18kmh to correct your position and keep your body straight up. Yeah... so much fun!!!! =]

I got mine for Christmas and this is a million times better than the hover boards! I have to go travel around my town with it for a while. As you said about turning, I'm able to stand straight up whenever I turn around, but it may just be how we push against the knee control pad. Great review and thank you!

You reviewed the Ninebot Mini but you show (and thus suggest to your viewers) at least several things they tell you not to do with the advanced Segway Mini Pro model, such as driving off a curb (gaps of 2 cm not recommended), driving with wheels on two different surfaces, driving on the sand, etc. Be careful, folks, you don't want to hurt yourself or your "Personal Transportation Robot." Calling it a hoverboard is an insult. :) And yes, I want the Mini Pro, just have concerns about that 2 cm gap they were warning about. You didn't seem to have any trouble at all with it, though. Maybe they are just being cautious and trying not to lower sales of the more expensive PTRs.

Although the Ninebot Mini Pro is the best hoverboard on the market currently (because it allows you to ride also rough roads without any problems, what a pedal-steered hoverboard cannot do), it has one disadvantage from my point of view: Highest speed is only 18 km/h. If this would be extended to 25 km/h, then it would be the ultimate personal transporter for me, better than the original Segway itself.

I think you can buy an adjustable steering lever... Im not sure where but I saw it in a video of a Ninebot Mini Pro so maybe its just for the pro version. But if im not mistaken you can actually take of the arm/lever off so I think there might be a way to replace it

how was riding in the sand. I noticed at one point you were doing it and then lifted it up to get on more solid sand. Did you feel like sand was going to break the device or was that just cause you got stuck and knew it wouldn't ride over soft sand?

It's not meant to ride in sand. As you noticed, yes, if it's more tightly packed sand, it'll actually drive okay

Hey there. I ordered the MiniPro (Amazon), so I'm excited. But the bad news is that the day after I got my e-scooter, the park patrol kicked me out of the park. That's where I always use my Segway and planned to practice. The park rules do state, "No motorized scooters," which I'm sure include this. I just wanted to share that though for those of us in NYC who may ride on the Hudson River Park pathways.

Is there any documentation stating that? I'll look it up, but after getting stopped by the park patrol (on an e-scooter), I want to always be prepared with facts. I'll be getting the MiniPro next month and would be thrilled if it's officially allowed. My Segway i2 wasn't 'illegal' either, but officers had the option to fine you or confiscate it because in NYC, it's not regulated. That never happened to me, but it did to a fellow glider who went from Manhattan to Brooklyn daily.

Yes my 3 is all Ninebot mini have 1 white and 2 black. I bougt then directly from China because I work a lot there and send them to HongKong and then from HK to Sweden. I paid totally 545 USD / each include shipping and tax. In China they cost 1999RMB=308 USD

"Any Xiaomi production after March 25th will only work in the Asian market, and is region coded accordingly.
