There are a number of z10 owners whod pay good money for that wheel and use their own as spares... you're dismissing a one of kind machine that got many of us interested ( Remember Tishawn riding the Z10 in NYC with House of Job? Top 5 greatest EUC vids of all time) with superb styling and shell build quality... if new itll sell for more than you bought it eventually.... but if its about the money then .. yeah i understadi) PS refusing a delivery can still get you to pay for that delivery so be careful about that, though Im in Europe (UK). so my laws may not apply.

I learnt on a Z-10, I still have it and it is a fantastic workhorse to get to and from work, I use it mainly as a backup vehicle since I drive everywhere in a car but its saved my butt a few times when my car didnt start, I work as a bus driver and its a next level of freedom to be able to stop my bus on a break, then ride to a shop where I wouldnt have been able to in the past, I have taken it off road but I wont push it to its full potential since it is an important asset to me.. but just tonight I did ride it through a field and next to a river to release a snake stuck in my birds cage back in the wild (im in Australia, fact of life).

The Z10❤️ Is to my opinion a misunderstood wheel, in it's"Right" environment "City riding " is absolutely perfect, stop riding it over Crazy bumps in a forest and take it out to the Streets😎❤️ The low speed handling is perfect for the bike lanes where my Gotway MSP is better on the road🔥👍🙏 Thanks for the review Adam❤️

@@patrickriday I used a paint with Iron particles and after I used an "activator" to get the Iron particles to "Rust" and then I finished with clear "sealing" paint🙏 It's s 3 part process 👍

Thanks for this fair and timely review of the legend that is the Z10! I ride mine nearly every day and have been since mid 2019 and I still love it! It's the awkward handling and the white knuckle experience at 25mph+ that keep me coming back for more. I'd agree your analysis about it not being a great off-road wheel. All that weight bucking about under you demands full concentration and lightning reflexes and on two occasions when I've gone for long and demanding off-roading sessions with other riders, I've had to bail, which was annoying but, It was just a bit too demanding to be enjoyable. This is a street cruiser ultimately and at this it excels.

Love my Z10! Ride the Sherman more these days, but don’t feel as bonded to it as the Z, something about the Give and take necessary to ride it, gives it more personality.

It's not the easiest wheel. Not the fastest too. But as you said, it's the Batman's wheel. Weird to ride, big tire, turning like a tractor, heavy, but wow. Quiet, stable on pretty roads. Im' riding my Z10 every day like a SUV to go to the office, nimble in the city, beauty as the beast. Sometimes i'm thinking to change this with a MSX to get more ride agility and range, but when you look the Z10, you can't imagine leave this.

I own a Z10. You are spot on about your review. Its my first ecu and its a lot of fun. I only use it for transportation. I wouldn't dare ride it like the riders on the KZbin video. Its my slow cruiser. Excellent video.

When you first got it was there any self balancing issues? I just got mine and it seems to not want to self balance and I fall to the side, not sure if I’m just not used to it because this my first EUC but it seems like the self balancing is non existent.

Does the fat tyre really make the difference in comparison to other thinner wheels? Is it actually so much stable?

The Z10 feels like the most unsafe wheel ever; it has a tendency to go where it wants not where i want. But, ive had some amazing near accidents in the Z10 where i should have hurt myself but didnt crash. Ex; riding at night in 40+ km/h when the road suddenly disappeared (construction work on the road) and it just flew over and hit something, shaking violently and screaming beep beep beep - but it kept on going until i managed to stop. Yes, maybe any other wheel would have survived that, idk, but the Z10 is extremely stable , built like a tank, and when it is going fast not much is going to make it stop - so if you manage to stay on you'll survive! I have also drove into water; meaning the whole Z10 was completely submerged. It wasnt on purpose,and i managed to get it out in only a few seconds, but i couldnt stop so i had to drive for another hour before i could turn it off and let it dry. No problems and its 6 months ago now. But maybe it will die on me tomorrow, who knows? Until then its a cool ride! :)

Plenty of guys never get rid of their ZTen. Many come back to it again and again. If you ride it hard and really bow your legs and lean out for turns it's actually quiet fun. It's different but it's not bad really.

Awesome looks & all but I can't help feeling the Z10 a failed experiment comprising a few major compromises. IMO & IME the 3" width tire is the sweet spot.

I have been riding a Z10 and 100% agree it's train-tracking all the time that I thought I'd never ever feel confident riding on it; however, it's unique character makes every single ride, well, special and memorable. Like an old supercar that wants to kill you every time you drive it. I just couldn't leave it 😂

the Z10 is what really made me want an EUC, shame it's not that great; however my latest crush is the King Song S18 . . . now that's a wheel! I'm holding off buying an EUC as they are a lot of money to spend on something that I don't even know is legal in the UK (that and I have no money)

I know Z10 is not a success, but I love the idea of it: - Low-speed design. I cannot ride on the road anyway in most of the EU. - Sturdy tank design, with protected inwheel battery. Better motor, air tyre, VESC, battery tech, backpack battery and it is the ultimate city wheel. :D

Since this tire is tubeless, is it possible to use plugs aka "bacon strips" for flat tire repair? I've seen videos on changing tires on these wheels and I'm trying to avoid the disassembly nightmare. Thanks for any advice 🙏🏻

Some of the inside tech solutions should be adapted by other EUC producers. Packing the batteries the way they do is pure logic, the other EUCs should learn from that....

I have the Z6 and I love it. I feel so secure on it! Had the V5F before, and understand perfectly what you said about being different, riding the ninebot. On higher speeds, to curve, you have to literally behave as you were on a motorcycle.... I would love to transform my Z6 on a Z10. Have heard about all the structure being the same, so, is it possible to change it? That would be nice to know... Keep it up with your great work on KZbin! Cheers!

Hey there! If something goes wrong it will be very difficult to get replacement parts. It was always hard but now that it’s not produced anymore since a year it’s even harder. V10f is okay starter wheel :)

Les chutes font partie aussi du jeu, mais aussi il faut penser que cette roue est assez rock ‘n’ roll. Certains disent que c’est la Harley Davidson de la roue électrique, pourquoi pas ! Did you tested any differents pressure tests ? I bought one recently but with the Extension i found it is not so easy to inflate and maintain the pressure when you put off the extension.

Is it still being sold new? Of all wheels I've ever read about, it's been the most noted for the longest period of time. Too bad Ninebot hasn't been evolving the design.

Exactly.. I think they weren't interested due to patent issues, biuut its a real shame because can you imagine iterations of that design competing today.. thing would have been an best seller 2nd and first wheel for most riders. They dropped the ball here.. but I think they sold the company anyway to segway. who didn't really take off. just niche products for military , government and small other. sad.

Some more insides: Even much weaker board then InMotions(which is absurd, as because of of the high amperage needed it should be the strongest). Bad heatsink design(board mounted on a flat steel plate, which sits on the inside plastik, with no heat dissipation at all). Worst battery/BMS tech, as the two battery sides are only „daisy chained“ and while braking only one battery gets reloaded and so the 2 battery can have different voltages, which can lead to really serious safety problems... Biggest producer/company...but with the worst service to the resellers(thats why it was abandoned by most resellers, waittime for spare parts 3/4 months minimum, if you get parts at all) So beside a sturdy case/shell...not that great :-)

nice! Was my fav wheel. To bad it had to many problems. But you said something like "old tech, only 55V ... and needs higher amps". I am not sure about that, like the 40mp phones cameras are not better as a full frame 12mp camera. As an analogy, like the number of pixels are not the most important factor (think apperture) so are volts in a whel not everything. On the contrary, if we ignore the production faults, the Z10 may still be the best technological wheel (every other modern wheel is just scalled up: bigger, stronger mosfets, mottors and battery)

Got a crash i guess with 35km/h and had a tiny broken glas in the tire. trollyhandel broke of and the hole i fixed with a Motorcycel Repairkit 😅 ...1000km ago an still in good shape. 🤙 but 50km/h is to slow after 4 years S2 and 1 year Z10 ^^

My first real unicycle!(first one was a cheap plastic one as a kid kzbin.infoUgkx4e2fa6x27dF7shCelntq0ZIKt4N0jELI I never learned to ride)So, this is a true learner, and for a C note, exactly what was needed. After a few weeks, I'm able to easily ride up and down the street. The Good: Solid frame. Has absorbed numerous spills through learning and still solid. Look - great looks, after 6 weeks of bashing Weight - it's really all tire, but as I fall I can easily grab the seat so it doesn't slam the ground. Size - Very adjustable. I'm 6', 33" inseam. I put it mostly up, but could go a bit higher if I needed to. The Bad: Not sure if it's out of the norm, but seat got scraped up quickly. Pedals - they are a bit uncomfortable and I can't get the right feel on my feet. But, they are solid and haven't been damaged at all as I've seen in reviews on other cycle's.- To address one comment about the seat connection not straight. Huh? Seat is on a round pole, you just turn it and it's straight. Either of the bad I expected to replace once I improved. I'd recommend to anyone else in the learning phase.
