This road certainly provides loyal service to agriculture and associated agribusiness along the lake plain of Lake Ontario. Thanks for covering.

Not a shock for a ALCO/MLW when I witnessed a MLW RS-10/RS-18 (not sure of model)pull a train of 100 to 120 cars 70 or so miles with decent grades when I was 9-10 with it going no more then five miles a hour. great switching. Thank You.

Amazing video, thanks for sharing! While I'm usually an EMD guy and I don't really like the Alco horn sound, I really enjoyed the motor sound of that beast. Very nice switching action!

Thanks a lot! Yeah I'm with ya, I love EMDs too, but I personally can't get enough of the Alcos. As for the horn, I wasn't a fan of it at first but it has grown on me over the years. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for the video, Matty! It’s great seeing an ALCo run long hood forward even though the short hood technically is the front of the locomotive.

Not necessarily. In this case, yes, the short hood is the front. But I've seen a handful of examples over the years where the long hood is the front.

@ Right, Matty. When I lived on Long Island, the LIRR ran their C420 locomotives long hood forward.

Good for him! Thought it was his voice on the radio but now that you say it the horn pattern is different.
