Hi David, you've watched one of their MVs and these five boys right over there made their debut in 2015. Name of the group comes from 1991 which is the year Kazakhstan become independent. They have a huge impact in Q-Pop and their fandom name is Eaglez. (Eagle is also an important figure in Kazakhstan's culture) Beside that, one of the members, ACE, was a trainee in SM. There's a short list members name and their stage name A.Z(Azamat Zenkaev) ALEM(Batırhan Malikov) ACE(Azamat Aşmakın) BALA(Daniyar Kulumşin) ZAQ(Dulat Muhametkaliev) I'm glad you enjoyed the song and I really love your reactions by the way 🙏 Thank you so much for the reaction 🙏 Take care 🙏 ❤ Note: Usually their MVs have subtitles, you should check out the lyrics as well and lyrics are just wonderful 🎵

Hellooo from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 David, I can’t believe you really reacted to q-pop and the fact that u liked it is just crazy!!! I watch basically all your reaction videos and I loooove them! I started listening to 91’s songs since their debut and last month I finally went to their concert! They are truly amazing, hope u will react to them more! Their songs have really deep meanings, so turn on the cc while watching. And here are my song suggestions from this group: 1. Ah Yah Mah and E yeah 2. Mooz ( a soundtrack to their documentary film) 3. Kalay karaisyn ( a soundtrack to other Kazakh movie, but the song itself is awesome) 4. Kaitadan and Yeski Taspa bii’ (very chill songs)

So yeah, this is Q-POP. (Qazaq/Kazakh pop Music) inspired by K-POP. The language and nation is Kazakh. 🇰🇿 “Ninety One” is the year 1991, when Kazakhstan got independence from the USSR (Russia). Similarly, “Ninety One” has independent music from those boring ones (my opinion hehe) in Kazakhstan. This group are the founders of new music genre “Q-POP”. Now, we also have other q-pop groups, that are also worthy to check ;) please react to any MV of those groups: • Ziruza (the solo q-pop singer. This girl always kills me with her voice) • Mad Men (international group, actually. There are only 2 Kazakhs and the rest 3 members are korean, russian and Ukrainian) • Newton (you have to experience this boys band) • EQ • Black Dial • Moonlight (hmmm my favorites :)

You know, they are the founders of the genre Q`pop. in 2015 they made their debut with "Айыптама (don`t judje me)". In the beginning they had a lot of haters because they were not like everyone else, they had dyed hair, make-up, earrings, tattered clothes. All this was alien to our "nation". They didn`t immediately accept them. 91 have a strong fanbase, but in 2016-2017(first half) haters canceled their concerts, they didn`t let them go to a calm for a long time... No one knew what was happening to them, what they were doing, everyone thought they had surrendered, but then they came back with "Su asty" in May, 2017. It was something🔥🔥 this song is dedicated to haters. As you`ll see in this MV, there they are more bold, more dared. This is not a picture after a cool party, they wanted to show the world of Q`pop that they enjoy it, that green drink, not alcohol at all, it`s the Q`pop drink. They wanted to show that they will be more interested in this and further develop this genre. This video was intended to show how haters tried to drown them and how they lived underwater(su asty), but you see they have gills, and so they are now coming, and the truth, 2017 was for NINETY ONE very successful, 5 MV`s, 1 full-length movie about them (excerpts you could see in the MV "Mooz"), youth TV series, solo concerts in many cities of our country, and in three cities of China, and a fan-meeting and mini-concert in Seoul, a big concert at the end of the year. Did it surprise you?😻 Yes, damn, me too🙃 AH!YAH!MAH! was their last MV in 2017, at the end you can see how they say to be engraved, because a storm is coming, THEY ARE THIS STORM. They promised that 2018 would be their year and they kept their promise. I can say that 2018 is their year, cause they are already TOP, but they continue to develop and with each their comeback they more and more surprise everyone. A month ago they started their tour. A week ago I was at their concert, they sang 20songs + choreography, and it was all a LIVE performance. Their voices are no different from the recording💫 They are very talented and charismatic. I understood then that I stan future legends😍 They are now the most popular group in Kazakhstan, and in many other countries. They have the biggest and most united fandom "EagleZ", each song has its own meaning, and own history. Most of their songs they write themselves, which makes them meaningful even more💜 Let`s support them together, David?) They deserves this.

Daaaaamn!!!!! Thanks for the reaction;) “Ninety One” deserves so much love and support, this group is really making top quality songs and MVs. Every song is meaningful af. They have never disappointed us, the fans (EagleZ), with a bad quality content. “Ninety One” has become a guarantee of a high quality product in Kazakh language in Kazakhstan. They are the only ones who set the bar up high there. Now I told you only the good sides of it. To be honest, there’s a huge dark history behind this group. As a Kazakh, and a citizen of Kazakhstan, I would like to tell you a little bit about this group. Almost 80-90% of Kazakh people in Kazakhstan are Muslims and they also value their national and religious traditions. So we are quite conservative and can be a little bit aggressive to the new. We look suspiciously to the things that comes from Europe or America. Hehe. When “Ninety One” dropped the very first MV called “Ayiptama” (original: Айыптама) there was a huge scandal. Like “who are they? Why do they look like gays? We don’t want these people to perform on the stage! They don’t deserve it! What are they showing to the young Kazakhstani generation?” People from politics, journalists, singers, city activists and other respected people in Kazakhstan protested against this group, blaming them for their style. Actually everyone liked their music, it was really good. But the style...earrings.. a little bit makeup.. “extraordinary” behavior on the scene (dancing, sharing energy and good atmosphere with fans, jumping). A huge number of people hated them. (Still, there are some haters). There were only negative comments under their vids, haters even cancelled their concerts. But thankfully to the support of the young fans from their motherland and from abroad, they continued doing “magic” :) actually, thankfully the haters too, cause “Ninety One” also kind of protested against the haters, by releasing quality songs and MVs, albums, no matter what. This group exists only 3 years and I’m happy they “survived” Kazakhstani society. Now they became the best group in my country, every channel, tv programs, radios, festivals, and even the events that organized by government invite those guys to perform. They really teaches us to be strong and be happy no matter what happens. That’s why they need more recognition not only from Kazakhstan, but also from the world. Bravo to them 👏🏻

it turns out theres always some pun in their songs. Like here they sing 'degenmen ol ainid' which means 'she will reject'. so what u hear as wo aini - is pronounced as 'all I need' but actually it means she will reject. and the story is about being motivated to propose and fear of reject and zero action as a result. There is one more pun in the lyrics of rap sung by the boy in total red outfit - it sounds like both 'u srewed it again' and some obscene phrase ta the same time.

"Oh... oh.. oh" Jeez, your reaction video is so hilarious! It got me :D They indeed are talented and bright, all with distinct characters, and their style is onpoint. My fav M/V so far, which demonstrates not only their talents, but this amazing level that they are at now, so much improved! Besides, as you said, "OMG, this song is legit SO good! This is like eargasm!" This song never releases you, once you've heard it. I'm very proud of them, and happy more people are getting to know them! Thank you for doing it, David! First time watching your channel, now I'm definitely sticking around. It wasn't just a reaction for the sake of reaction, but you truly noticed many things about the song and the band. Looking forward to your other reaction videos to Ninety One! =) Btw, they are a Q-pop band from Kazakhstan, not China :D But yeah, music transcends language, and this music got you, that's the main thing! ;)
