We do tend to draw a fair number of "Let's not do that" lessons from our southern neighbours. The past year really really drove home both how we resemble and yet are quite different from each other. We've got our nutters too but they're consistently a minority here. We're a lot more like our Commonwealth cousins in national temperament.
