You cannot help but love them, as the genuine and passionate musicians and people they are. As far as I could hear, they don't use studio trickery like robotic time alignment and autotune, and on some songs it even feels like they're not even recording to a metronome but letting the drummer feel out the beat. It's refreshingly pure. I'm glad I found this band :) It took a few recommendation hops from youtube as I looked for something similar to another japanese band I quite enjoy. I'm really glad to have found Ningen Isu. Congratulations to their anniversary and the concerts they booked overseas - I hope people fill the venues to the brim!

this is exactly why i get chills and the chickenskins in the neck only just hearing them speak - its awe inspiring and deeply humbling to see their personalities shine aswell as their unbelievably mastery of writing and composing aswell as working together in seemingly an unbreakable harmony shared to all who have eyes and ears :)

I love how Ningen Isu doesn't mix English words in the lyrics, unlike most Japanese bands. To me it sounds much better that way.

They do on a couple songs, for example thier song "Shinkei-shou I Love You"

I have disliked Japanese hard rock band whose lyrics is not English. But, after re-realizing Ningen Isu, I am aware that I have wrong understanding about format. Ningen Isu is great because they play songs in Japanese. It was also over 30 years ago when I knew them first but unfortunately, I could not like their appearance and attitude at that moment.

Thanks to Ningen Isu and Leo Imai for doing this translated interview. I appreciate that Ningen Isu isn't going to change anything. The music is great enough to overcome any language barrier. And because of the music I want to learn the lyrics and what they're about. I love this band. Their songs and sound is true rock and roll as good as any American or British band. The whole world is now becoming aware of them, and the world needs them. It's exceedingly rare to discover such a great band these days. I wish them much success in the coming years. Thank you, Ningen Isu.

Of course bass guitar tone by him is also so G', the bassist is Suzuki & the guitarist is Wajima, just in case(^-^)
I wouldn't care if this video wasnt in English as long as it had English subtitles. It's nice to hear people in their native tongue, you get a good feel of the language and how people express it that way.
