I'm doing a world with my brother and friend of ours & once we started a terraria server up we decided that we should build a castle. It took a bit to find a design that fit us but eventually we found one and got started. All and all the base took 5-6 hours with all the material farming & we were very happy with the result.

If you beat Golem you have a chance to receive a picksaw, with which you can mine the bricks under the altar. With this pickaxe you can freely move the altar however you want "like a normal person". However, prior to the first time you beat Golem it is impossible to mine away the bricks under the altar. Using actuators, you can still make the blocks intangible, which pops the altar cleanly off. This is considered a glitch but not a major glitch.

I'm actually in a very similar area. I got the game years ago when it first came about and I played the first versions. Haven't touched it since, in fact the only bosses here I remember by the time I stopped playing were Eye of Cthulhu, Skeletron, and the Wall of Flesh.

A mesmerizing show, had to watch it through till the end although I did not know anything about the game initially. Towards the end it felt like I was watching an installation in a modern art museum, you know, an enclosed dark space with the large screen showing the art. All the boss fights had a pleasing choreography in them, enhanced by the accelerated time feature. A mesmerizing show indeed.

lots of people can do that due to how the phantasm shows you that you're hitting the tower with your arrows you just need a bit of time to adjust your aiming and bam you can snipe towers with ease also considering that ningishu is a pro they probably have done this multiple times before

noakinn theres approx 1/2 chance of the loot bag/loot to drop in lava because of the dynamites exploding after WoF is dead, causing the loot square thingy to get blown up. This also means you've activated hardmode, and you dont have any loot from WoF... Well this could be avoided in 2 ways: 1. Dont use explosives 2. Have a backup voodoo doll, or maybe more than 1 if you're unlucky and it falls in lava again.
