To answer a lot of people's questions at once: 1) Yes, you can use the same method to customise baseball, basketball and football jerseys. With football jerseys, it takes a little longer because of the amount of numbers on the jersey. 2) I recommend Kevin at Customise Sports (customizesports.com) as the quality of work is excellent, but there are a few other reputable companies out there ... and a whole bunch of them that you should avoid. 3) The heat-press only kits that team stores have comes from a company called Stahl's. Unless you're a licensed retailer by the NHL, they're damn near impossible to get a hold of. I tried.

Was that nameplate made of matching Ultrafil material like the jersey? Because it didn't look like it. I want to know if Custom Sports sent you that Verbeek kit and if the NP was matching or not. Makes a huge difference.
@jessamygriffin27363 жыл бұрын
I can answer that, I just got several kits. No, the nameplate is like an airknit. If you have a maska nameplate already, an old cheap jersey to cannibalize or a polyester material that looks like maska, tell him no nameplate and the letters come correctly spaced on a heavy clear plastic that lets you place and iron on for sewing. It is hard to get all the discontinued materials I would imagine. The one for my Caps blue eagle was a color mismatch, unfortunately but I had an old kids jersey with holes I will use, since I am not having luck matching it at fabric shops.

Classic Football Shirts generally has the kits that I need. Failing that, eBay. Failing that, just ask for Sporting ID letters (if you're doing Premier League letters). I suggest that you practice on a sewing machine first before you buy anything. Get a pair of old jeans or something you'll never ever wear and practice zig-zag stitching on scraps of material.
