They were active as a group from 2015 but they debuted their music in 2020. Their vocals are very diverse yet they are able to harmonize so well and collectively they have such a broad vocal range. There’s a lot of music videos on their channel so hope you check them out, but also their first 2 First Take appearances for “Imitation Rain” and “Everlasting”are ballads and pretty amazing as well.

From left to right, they are Juri Tanaka, Yugo Kochi, Jesse (he just goes by Jesse now), Taiga Kyomoto, Hokuto Matsumura, and Shintaro Morimoto. Most of them are acclaimed actors in film/tv/stage, in particular Hokuto Matsumura has been in films that were nominated for the Berlin film festival and also he did the voice of Sota Munakata (the chair) in a film called Suzume, the newest animation movie by Makoto Shinkai (the director who made Your Name). It was in cinemas globally so maybe you’ve seen it.

Thank you for making this reaction video. The reason that you haven't heard any of their music is because their agency has very strict copyright rules and they they firmly believe the only way to make profits is to sell CDs. So basically it means their music is not on any of the streaming platforms such as Apple Music or Spotify, and if you want to listen to their albums, you'd have to buy physical CDs (which is not easy for overseas fans because they don't offer international shopping options). It is really sad because they make such great music and their music deserves to be heard by the audiences all around the world.

I believe the members from left to right are Tanaka Juri Yugo Kochi Jessie Lewis Kyomoto Taiga Matsumura Hokuto Morimoto Shintaro (wikipedia put their family names last with the exception of Jessie who has an american name his dad I believe is american I put their family names first since it's how I'm used to seeing them)

Thank you for this reaction video for SixTONES, it's actually pronounced "stones" 🫡 If you like them then I guess you'll enjoy their PlayliST videos on their official KZbin Channel. My recommendation are : - フィギュア (Figure), song with vocaloid influence - 人人人 (Hito Hito Hito - People), a funky rap with live band - 共鳴 (Kyoumei - Resonance), definitely anime song - Gum Tape, a lonely heartbreak song - 僕が僕じゃないみたいだ (Boku ga boku janai mitai da - I'm not like myself), a ballad with dramatic arrangements

Their group is actually pronounced as "Stones", leaving the lower letters, and they are incredible! Other than The First Take, I recommend "Hito Hito Hito", which they performed on their channel. If you want to hear more of their vocals, "Gum Tape" and "Mascara" are my favorites. If you're into J-pop, there's another group from the same agency that debuted on the same day as SixTONES called "Snow Man". SixTONES are amazing for the vocals while Snow Man for the dance. It'd be so good to see your reaction on them! My recommendations are "Love Trigger", "Dangerholic (dance practice)", and "Da B/omb" 😊
