One of my buddies did a project with Bruce Franklin back in 1993. Impressive project too called Generation. It combined thrash metal guitar with with Bruce's explosive right handed Iommi style playing. He's the right handed version of Tony Iommi who is a bad ass left hander.

it's too bad most people don't realize that and think that coz these guys talk bout christian themes in their music that makes them a "christian metal" band rather than just a band giving a different twist to metal lyrics

For sure. Eric always said that those religious themes just made for some heavy subject matter so that's what he chose to write about. Songs like Plastic Green Head, The Porpoise Song and Opium Eater later got away from that subject matter and they definitely branched out.

Eric have mentioned many times, that Trouble is not a christian/white-metal band and he is not associated with christianity either. They're more like ''stories of good and evil''.
