Testing out a new meatloaf seasoning I found at the market-kinder's meatloaf seasoning packet-was it any good? Also testing out a co plate meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots using the Ninja foodi smart lid and steam crisp function-what did we learn?

Loved watching you make this, that fact that it did not go perfectly was realistic. I was thinking 30 minutes might even be better than 25, that meat needs to hit 168F. Would love to see more all in one meal videos.

Thank you! 😊. I think if I went to 30 minutes the carrots would have been charred-its all about size-This is my opinion-I'm going to give this a try again and cut potatoes smaller and make meatloaf thinner and I think that will fix the issue. I will definitely be making more all in one thanks Mr Gunn!

OK I live over in Eugene Oregon which you know it’s a ways from you lol and a different time zone. And I woke up a little after six this morning and turned on the TV to my KZbin and what a nice surprise you already had a video up which is how I love to start my day. And one of the things I want to learn to do most and my ninja foodie with the new one, is due whole meals like meat potatoes and vegetable all in the one pot. I’ve been trying things out just on my own But it is so helpful and I love it when you do recipes like this. I just watch last night the shake and bake pork chops with the Knorr rice dish and I loved it because you showed me oh yeah you can’t do that. And so I’m just starting this mornings video and I’m so thrilled to see what you’re doing and I also appreciate how you improvise when you don’t have exactly the ingredients the way the recipe may tell you to use. So good morning and thank you🌞🙋🏻‍♀️. Have a fabulous day🌻

Hi Lisa. I like that recipe. Looks like it tasted pretty good. Maybe with the potatoes, it needed a little more liquid while it was cooking. I bet the Speedi could do a version of this recipe. I think I'll give it a try soon. Thanks for sharing.

Loved your show, please do wait for the food to cool a little bit more, it will taste so much better, and the look on your face will be awesome! Will be trying that seasoning for the meatloaf, like that you read us the ingredients of the package, it makes me want to use it. Goin to make it in a Ninja xl oven. Guess I will use the bake function. Also, don't be in such a race to finish the video, have fun, and relax. What I liked most about your videos is you are a real person on camera, definitely not some fake lady with lots of makeup pretending she never makes a mistake. Using Ninja appliances as a theme for your show is a clever idea to attract people to your channel. I found your channel by searching for videos that show the Ninja foodie xl pro oven. There is not but a handful of creators doing this. I was so impressed by your leg of lamb video. Going to try that this summer, using your video and recipe. Wishing you great success with your KZbin channel. Keep at it with the great work. And thanks for the video.

Hi L, Thank you ! Maybe try a Bundt pan. I use 4-6" for 1 lb, 8" for 2 lbs or use 3 mini Bundt / loaf pans that fits. Plus, it controls the meat fat to drain out. I got this from Jeff - Pressure luck recipe meatloaf instant pot. It's like a giant meatball with a sweat barbecue sauce.

This looks really yummy, Lisa! Love meatloaf. Will have to look for that seasoning. I know you were doing a quick meatloaf, but I like onion and celery in mine…personal preference…still, thought, I’d eat this for sure! Would make some killer meatloaf sandwiches the next day!!! 😋 ❤

Hi Lisa I’ve got my 15 in 1 Foodie finally, I managed to cook chicken however not tried it as a meal, I tried Brocolli and carrots but came out raw after 9 minutes (pressure cooker mode) unsure if I’m doing something wrong, I then did the roast potatoes separate to the chicken and I ended up cooking for over an hour and all different times! Was just hoping there is a way to cook a roast dinner like all in 1? any help would be great thanks Also you remind me of Nancy Cartwright who voices Bart Simpson which is good 👍

Uk 🇬🇧. Handy recipe. I'm trying the Steam Meal function out on the Smartlid as I've avoided it for ages now. I'm struggling working out cooking times etc for different cuts of meat etc that aren't in the little Ninja book. Some of it's trial and error- and apologising to your other half when it's not quite right, and having a pen and paper handy to jot things down when they go right. I'm doing really well with everything else that the Smartlid does but it's the 3 layers of food with the Steam Meal function that's stressing me out.

Hi, what I have found is that size matters-if my potatoes were smaller and the meatloaf a bit thinner it wold have been darn near perfect. Also with chicken breasts-at least here in the US they are super big and thick that you have to cut them in half or make tenders or go in search of smaller breasts. another thing I noticed is that I do not use the top rack very often as it tends to overcook smaller pieces of meat like the chip tenders of the boneless chicken thighs that I use-yes the bottom racks is packed with meat and veg but it just works so much better. I should do a vid on what I have found works and what doesn't. Maybe tomorrow-I'm off. thanks! luv my UK viewers! someone requested me doing pasties-i did find a recipe but I dislike rutabagas plus not sure if I can find them here. may have to use something else.

@@pressurecrisp Thanks for the reply. Our chicken breaststroke here tend to be smallish and I'm cooking for 2 so I sometimes get in a panic over amounts and timings. I'm struggling with finding recipes and guidance for the Steam Meals bit and I've repeatedly stared at the chart in the little book trying to work out what to do with the ingredients I've got and put the book away. I had 4 small pork medallions weighing 100g each, some frozen veg and some baby potatoes and a sort of gravy in the bottom of the big bowl. I cut the potatoes up a bit (they ended up under cooked). I'd tried to use the chart in the book to work out the times and ended up with about 9 mins or something. The pork medallions were OK but boy, I didn't have a clue what I was doing As a side note, the Ninja Cooking Circle contributors don't seem to have particularly bothered making recipes for the Steam Meal function. As a way of cooking quickly in 1 pot which is cheaper energy-wise, it's a shame because when you get it right it's a fantastic way of cooking. C x

@@ameliarannestiggins2345 I understand-its a lot of trial and error-I have the one pasta recipe down and can make changes a bit and every meal has come out good. I will be doing this recipe again-not sure but soon. But pat attention to size of potatoes -they have to be cut up small-I don't have the perfect size yet as I have only worked with pota8oes this one time. I'm on call a lot this week and coming weekend -I do hope to get recipes done on Saturday as my only day to do this. and next I will be starting on rice complete meals as well-I hav an idea on how to get the top of rice not so crunchy. This has happened several times and is not tasty.

Hey Lisa! Thanks for another awesome video! I was SO hoping that this would turn out better! I am a meatloaf fiend! I must again say thank you for being real and just telling it like it is. There are too many people on YT that are just Ninja shills, and I while I do love their products, I'd like to see how things work in the real world. Thank you for that! I just have to ask... If you knew that the meatloaf was rare in the middle, and you knew the potatoes needed more time, why not throw the meatloaf back in with the potatoes as they cooked a bit more? Also, I tend to be wary of most seasonings where the first ingredient is salt. That's unfortunately a non-starter for me, which is why I love Dan-O's. I HAVE to be on a low-sodium diet, and when the first ingredient on a seasoning is salt, I cringe a bit. I can control that on my own. :) Again, thanks so much, and we all love you and your awesome videos! Look forward to every new one! Keep 'em comin'!

Hi, Yes I should have put everything back in and cooked for another 5 minutes. and so true about seasonings-I made that mistake last night playing around with wings-wish more companies would come out with their seasonings without the salt then we would be able to add tons of seasoning and just the right amout of salt we would like. I want to try this again-very soon and will be trying to cut potatoes smaller and meatloafs thinner-I liked the carrots. Thank you so much for liking my vids!

Just a question why not finish cooking the food ? Because you already stated that it wasn't done. I am not being a smart a@#$ I am curious about your decision to just stop cooking the food. I'm not a good cook or anything else. Anyways thanks for making these videos I enjoy watching them. Your channel gives me enough confidence to attempt to make some of these meals. I have the smart lid and it's not very accurate in cook times and tends to over cook things. Also makes softer foods into having a crust. Admittedly it's OK for some foods but not for like biscuits. Hopefully I didn't offend you because that wasn't my intention at all. As I stated before I really don't know how to cook so I spend more time looking at KZbin trying to get some good ideas for cooking. Thanks again for an awesome video.
