It's not that the remarks are ment to be unkind. It's more of ' this is not really a true comparison'. Maybe a better title would be 'why I like my instant pot and separate air fryer better then ninja foodi. She doesn't say why she prefers the two that did not do as well as the ninja. And it's OK that she does. However when those of us that really have no experience with either and was looking for true comparison....this video was just not it.

I gave my Instapot away because I feel the Foodie is far superior. My test is on spareribs. You can season then pressure cook your ribs 15-20 min. and then apply sauce. I add another 15 minutes and broil or air fry. I check every 5 minutes and love that they brown. Yum! I have the 6.5 size and do not have a lot of room so its size is problematic for me. But I do love it.

I just bought a Ninja Foodi to replace my well-used Instant Pot, as I've got a tiny, tiny kitchen and wanted an air fryer in addition to a pressure cooker - so having this extra functionality rolled into a single device made it a no-brainer, despite the cost. I've not used the Ninja much yet, but the extra time saved by how much more quickly it comes to pressure makes a big difference for me, and its air fryer mode is absolutely awesome - so I think that it roundhouse-kicks the Instant Pot's can all over the place. It's not even close. I've read a few things from people saying that the Ninja Foodi is MUCH BIGGER than the IP, but in truth its footprint is only a little bigger. It is however about twice the weight of the IP and you need some extra space above and to the left of the device to open it up, so if you've got low-hanging kitchen units you might struggle a bit with it. If you've got the room though, I'd say go with the Foodi.

She said it wasn't significant and that's a fact. Acting like 5 minutes is detrimental to your cooking time or life in general is dramatic to say the very least. Calling something a tie, based on trivial factors, is a perfectly valid conclusion of a reasonable person who has a grasp on reality.

I watched a few KZbin videos on the Ninja Foodi vs. the Insta Pot and hands down in my opinion is (Insta pot) is a better fit for me; it's not so huge even if you were to get the Insta pot xl if you have a bigger family to feed, but for my little family I can go either way to wrap up & put inside freezer bags for the next time I want that same dish all I gotta do is take out of freezer to thor out plus I have a toaster oven to heat up & make it crispy if it calls for it or just a quick warm up with the microwave; what makes this a winner is the size, small but big inside; meaning I can cook the same stuff in the insta pot as well as someone else cooking in the huge Foodi without leaving myself any room for anything else & with the Insta pot I have counter space to spear!!!

Using metal utensils in any cooker is foolish, always use silicone or if you don't like that, then wood. However food grade silicone is safe and non-corrosive and hard-wearing. Ive had my Ninja foodi for nearly two years and found it unbeatable. The Instant-pot and the Ninja foodi are reviewed fairly even but Ive noticed that the reason they are that way, although the Ninja has more uses and is more practical, is that many of the ladies who have reviewed both have used the Instant-pot in the past and simply do not want to make the change. Like another commenter says, if the Ninja is rated even at worst and superior at best, there is your answer however I get that some would rather not change. Btw Ive never scratched the ceramic pots and I have two of them, it makes it so convenient having two when cooking a large or diverse presentation. So finally I would say, if you haven't purchased either of them, go with the Ninja, takes up smaller space in one machine since you'd have to buy a separate air fryer and there's no question an air fryer is an essential kitchen tool these days. Best wishes and I hope whichever choice you make that you benefit and are successful in your kitchen. Ahp

To make a comparison between two different types of cooking machines is equal amounts in both machines to get a more accurate answer. Just in my opinion not to mention it also depends if you have the room in your cooking area. Like I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment but there isn't much room for really anything but I make room to do what I have to then after cleaning up back it goes in it's own place just like my huge pressure cooker elite; it is a bit of inconvenience but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!! lol peace & God BLESS 😇🙏✌🤗

I don't like the bulky 2 lid system of the Foodi...I do love the non stick liner...and I do like the air crisp option, mostly for browning....Instant Pot was my first purchase and I still love it and use it a lot...but, if I had to choose, I'd go with the Foodi....However, Instant Pot just came out with a crisper model (not a surprise)...it only has one lid...nice...but I still love that Foodi non stick liner...I go with the Foodi (even with the clumsy lids)...just my opinion...both are awesome products... I have an instant pot. My dummy self bought an air fryer before considering the Ninja Foodi because I thought "well, I don't need TWO cookers since I already have a pot!" Now I feel like the Foodi would've been a good addition because I'd have liked to simultaneously cook dishes in one thing, and rice in the other. I know what I won't do now though, and that is buying a second instant pot! I'll get a Ninja Foodi the next time it goes on a super sale.

You had WAY too much steam coming out of your Instant Pot when it was pressurizing. You clearly did not have the weight toggled completely to sealed. You also should have used the comparable sized Instant Pot.

When you compare the two, you should be using the same size. Disappointed in this review.

they came out with an instant pot duo crisper, the lid is removable, no nonstick lining that can later get into your when it eventually breaks down and peal off

You obviously are biased. Those chips from Ninja looked insipid and unappetising. Perhaps read the instructions properly before conducting a review!

If you are going to compare the products and one clearly does the food better AND in come cases faster. Why not recommend the winning product. Why recommend the one you are used to.

Anybody else have issues with the Ninja Foodi pressure lid not sealing after a while? Ours ran into this issue and I’d like to fix it so my wife doesn’t make me spend another $200-$300 on a new one

The Ninja Foodi ia dangerous! The lid sticks to the inner pot after the pin drops and you have to lift it out with hot food\liquid in the pot and then try to pry them apart. So i dont recommend the Foodi.

The ninja does too many things. If it goes down, you are screwed. Everything the instant pot does is related. If you have a pressure cooker, you can get a lot done.

It doesn't have the airfryer option without buying a lid. My IP is a 3 quart and no air fryer lid for it.

works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside kzbin.infoUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again. This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.
