The way the credits showcases the Ryuken, Vigoorian Flail, Falcon's Talons, Shurikens, Windmill Shuriken, Eclipse Scythe, and finally the Jashinken gives me the idea that these are the only "true" weapons Ryu would have in his arsenal and utilize in combat. OOoo I'm getting chills 😅

@@daniel8chang actually impress me the team didn't include them. It's weird because they included the dual katanas from Sigma, a game the original director dislikes, for the beta version of NGII. Then they got replaced by the Dragon Sword + Blade of the Archfiend, a better combo but would've been cool to see both duals. It is curious.

This is lowkey better than some movie credits... and for the Holy Vigoor Emperor, the post credits scene is SO badass, not the random, nonsense and unnecessary Kasumi cameo for Ligma 2. It's epic thinking this was the peak of the studio, and the final masterpiece, the VERY videogame. And, at the same time, I feel the sorrow of what went next. Thanks Team NINJA, and thanks Master Tomonobu Itagaki. What a way to leave Tecmo. Indisputable legend.

I am currently playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on PS3... regreting that my playtrhough is with the PS3 version over the far superior Xbox version :(

TMALATERALUS it's actually improved. 360 ver. Had issues with crashing with the amount of npcs on screen and the bombardment of incendiary shrukins thrown at you. Players have to do extra invisibility frame moves to not get stunned by them. Hopefully you played the original by now.

AI is better, its more difficult, the weapon upgrade system is better, more enemies on screen, a whole arsenal of secondary weapons, no shitty forced sections with characters clearly not designed for that fast gameplay, its not censored with blue smoke instead of blood like sigma, i could go on for hours, sigma is definitelly the worst version to play. it sucks ass and has nothing to do with true ninja gaiden gameplay. the whole point of ninja gaiden was a difficult and delicate dance. sigma is raped and butchered. sigma 2 more than sigma 1, but both are shit. and btw, it never crashed once. never

@@wesleykohlman7275 sigma has a better frame rate and less crashes but this is due to less enemies so the game won't blow up the PS3, which results in more HP for enemies to compensate. In the end it's still Ninja Gaiden to me.

Heck no it isnt!....Ruy just walks a way and we see the backside of Kasumi...how exactly is that better?....I think this original end credits with the weapons and scenes from the game is much better....besides if I remember correctly Sigma 2 was also the "censored" version with much less blood and gore, so ye, overall the original NG2 for X360 is the the better version

You are right if it comes to brutalty and end credits that Version is better but if it comes to higher and more stable framerate ps3 version all the way... they cut some blood because of the abysmal framerate of the xbox Version......remember the stairs on the xbox version

the only thing i miss in ninja gaiden 2, from the previous part, ninja gaiden 1.. is that i miss the little things like, the scarab rewards,the safe unlocking codes, the free path around the city or area, the ambience is kinda lame if i look at part one > 2, still in ninja gaiden 2 they imporved the fighting and the saving system, also the story was nice, nice weapon arsenal, + the shop was disimproved.. please everyone respond to this comment and let me know your thoughts

@cwj415 er...yes? remember when Zeus teleports in and takes the blade? That's Ryu's level. Ryu is actually faster, if the move with the True Dragon Sword and full essence is any indication. If Zeus had used that speed during his fight, Kratos would have gone down like a sorry ass. But he didn't. Which is what I'm saying: Ryu is faster than Kratos, and beats him in a normal fight.

Good game overall but compared to the first game it doesn’t hold a candle. I feel the first game was more sandbox adventure like Zelda with puzzles. Ninja Gaiden 2 was more kinda brainless hack and slash - was fun don’t get me wrong but missed that special something

"BrAiNlEsS" Ninja Gaiden II pushes your limits as a player to the point that you have to use all the ingames combat mechanics to proceed. Like being more effecient to enemies, using i-frames as possible, blocking, moving around relentlessly, dodging, counter attacking, and executing the right combos to avoid get punished. But I know what you mean by that, you got your ass kicked really hard by those IS throwing "cheap" ninjas. If you don't know the flow of it's combat, then you'll suck at it.

Re: Ryu vs Kratos comments below KZbin search: "Mortal Kombat 9 (PS3/X360) Secret Fatalities" "Kratos!! watch your steps" "Kratos wishes he was still in hell" Ryu could kill Kratos as easily as any weak MK character, then all he needs to do is enter hell, kill Kratos again and collect his heart like he did in his game to the Greater Fiends who are also deities like Kratos, if you read those books on myths and stuff Ryu picks up. After that Kratos is dead permanently.

@eddiequest1 lol, ok, Kratos has taken down beings much more powerful than Ryu's usual enemies. But Ryu's got the speed, and that's pretty much everything in battle. Kratos might surprise him with his Blades of Exile, but as a well trained and experienced Ninja, Ryu would adapt and treat it as his own Kusarigama. BUT, in magic power; Kratos wins, and Kratos has his Rage of Sparta to power himself up and take much more damage than Ryu can give. With that, Kratos wins.
