As soon as I saw this video show up on my feed I was instantly thinking “man he NEEDS to play the Master System game!” So I’m glad to hear you’ll be playing it soon. It’s my favorite Ninja Gaiden game and possibly my favorite game on the Master System! I also unknowingly died due to a timeout on the final boss in Ninja Gaiden Game Gear hahaha

@@TheAgingGamer I'm still in shock that they had the audacity to release a "Master Collection" and not include even the original NES trilogy with it, much less the other older games. Then again, it didn't have Black or Vanilla NG2 either...

Another great video Josh and I like all the Ninja Gaiden games and I agree with you that the monk boss is hideous, aaahhhh look away and also the boss fart is gross and funny at the same time

this month i found thius game second hand and bought and LOVE it. Just the right length, challenge and fun level for me - its really charming. Yoiur video is great! I know its not the NES, but I am so glad you don't hate on this cool game for just being what it is. Its a big YES for this game from me

Great vid and solid game man. That stylus is awesome. NG is also one of my fav gaming series, and I'm thinking about doing a Ryu Hayabusa build in my next run through of Cyberpunk

Haha, that would be badass. And hell yeah, Ninja Gaiden is one of my favorite series as well. I’m in the editing stages of my Ninja Gaiden SMS review and that’s going to be my SIXTH Ninja Gaiden game review. Other than X-Men games, I think that’s a record for my channel. 😂

@@TheAgingGamer have you tried the Famicom version on NG3? It's easier, but I actually prefer it. Much better enemy and item placement makes it my favorite in the NES/Famicom trilogy. The SMS game I've played and beaten once, but for some reason I've never had the urge to go back. Maybe your vid will inspire me lol

And I like the stylus that came from pre ordering Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword because it's a little sword and like they say the pen is mightier than the sword 👍

Haha, i think i actually like that stylus more than the game itself. Its so simple, but its so awesome. I think the lack of Ninja Gaiden merchandise out there makes me love it more 😂

Thanks bro! Ya know, I never actually played Goonies 2 for the NES. I’ve heard a lot of people talk about it (good and bad) but it seems pretty popular. I might have to rewatch the movie for some inspiration. lol

Never played this but the NES trilogy was mah shyte...Ninja Gaiden II was my favorite of the original three.

Oh yeah, The Dark Sword of Chaos is my favorite as well. Tighter gameplay and more visually stunning levels. Its fantastic!

Hidden gem, beat this, NG shadow and the whole NES trilogy, gotta beat the japanese version of NG 3 because the american was insane. I liked NG GG, it has its own soul and play pretty well
