Ninja Gaiden II - Path of the Master Ninja - Chapter 5 (NG+)

Conditions for this playthrough:
1. Complete every encounter between each save point consecutively. This means no going back and saving after finishing a fight.
2. No recovery items (excluding Tests of Valor)
3. Don't rely on the safest tactics. It's not interesting to watch somebody chain UTs and Izuna Drops for eternity. I'll still be using those moves, but only sparingly (for the most part). I want to make use of each weapon's entire moveset.
4. I'll try to use every weapon in every chapter.
5. I'll only skip an encounter if it's tedious (or if I forget about). I'm not going to fight the red fish or kill all of the flying guys that shoot fireballs at you, for example. Nobody wants to see that.
There will be a 'skip' button at the start of every Test of Valor if you don't want to see them.

In my previous videos, some sections of each stage weren't running as smoothly as they should. I figured out why that was happening, so everything should be fine from now on. The only problem is that I had already played up to chapter 8 before figuring out what was wrong, so I decided to redo chapters 5, 6, and 7. I started another save file and quickly ran through the first four chapters, so my total score at the end of the mission will be a little different.
Everyone uses the spear gun to deal with water combat, so I thought I'd show something a little different. Fighting on the water is a little unwieldy, but it's not so bad if you know which weapons to use. The boss of this stage is also pretty fun to fight on the water.

I wish this series would get released on the PS4/Xbox One. Ninja Gaiden is such an awesome series to play.

Hi, These videos are fucking top-notch. Nicely done on all of them, I'm learning and lot and hope I can take down Master Ninja like I did in NGB someday. I wanna ask a question about the slowdowns you mentioned, what was the reason that you found? I thought it was my imagination but I swore I was getting it worse in some playthroughs compared to others. Would be nice to hear it's not just me.

The frame drops I mentioned were coming from how I recorded the videos, not the game itself. I don't think there's much you can do about in-game slowdown, unfortunately.

It's one of the three DLC costumes. This one's called Shadow Walker.

I think the PS3 only had the ones you could unlock and some dynasty warriors ones. It looks so awesome. Do you use the other DLCs? I'll watch for them because I'm curious.
