it has a lot of power for a first bike but since it's a sport bike, it's mostly in higher RPMs. So it should be alright if you're careful. A good idea for everyone, especially for a beginner is to get sliders because you will drop it. Happens to everyone. And you don't want to poke a hole into your engine or destroy fairings

just try to test run it first for like 30 minutes, because a racer is not very comfy in my opinion. I say go for a naked bike, lot more comfort, also i would suggest ATLEAST 600 because the more power the easyer you can make turns. it rides a lot safer to have more cc.
