SBMM for Fortnite only works for this game. Example COD SBMM sucks makes you wanna quit the game. In Fortnite it gives me a chance to finally learn to build in game and improve over time I played Fortnite heavy S3 and 4 but never got good at building and quit. Now I play every single day and enjoy it again with bad plays seeing what I do wrong and not going against super skilled players every game. My opinion Fortnite is back to stay and I’m here with it

Its crazy surreal that i finally quit this game . This season sucks. Every random squad lands at crazy first drop places and gets fuckin clapped instantly. 1/15 times you get to play an actual game of over 1 minute. The guns are so limited that theres no variety. Pubs should not have skill based matchmaking it's killed the game. the worst thing for mid players like me. I have about 500 wins and played since season 1. I'm in no way a pro player however on solo I used to regularly get 10+ kill games. On solo squads I'll occasionally reach 20 or just under. I also play arenas. I'm div 8 on arena meaning I'm in the top level for matchmaking. Im eu regularly come across pro players such as mongraal, benji, mitro. Just to name a few. After getting raped on arenas I just wanna play pubs... Oh no I can't because I get insane sweats. Only thing I can do now is solo squad. Which is awful without siphon

Skilled based match making isn’t a real thing until they remove forced cross play. Console players on 60fps play pc player with 200+ fps it’s the dumbest shit every. Ruined this season 100%

The best thing that you could do to compromise for people who want SBMM and those who want random matchmaking is to make it a 50% chance of SBMM and a 50% chance of random matchmaking whenever a player readies up, and keep the matchmaking method concealed so that they don’t cancel if they didn’t get the method they wanted (because if they did then it would result in longer queue times for other people). This way 50% of the time lower skilled players are happy and 50% of the time higher skilled players are happy. It’s a very simple compromise that should be implemented into the core modes.

So I’m an above average casual player. I’m good enough that I don’t get put into noob lobbies but I don’t play the game enough to compete with the top tier players. Personally I feel like SBMM ruined the game for me. It would be tolerable if pubs had 40% faster farming because then I don’t have to farm for half the game.

Video games are just like politics irl. Pro players have a large influence but are a very small minority (rich people). Bots attempt to control the game but have small influence on devs (poor/average people)

i still enjoy playing fortnite i play the LTM and arena solos and zone wars in playground. Don't really like pub solos anymore because there's no siphon. I wouldn't say the game is dying but im sure the fortnite player count is still higher than most games.
