Great video. Question, can you extend/increase the pour time on this machine?
@JustADad5 ай бұрын
not sure yet, I will be going into the settings this week

Is it normal for it to only brew that 1.5 oz shot instead of the 2 it’s supposed to do with the double espresso setting? Mine is doing short shots as well, but I read a regular double shot espresso is supposed to be 2 ozs. Appreciate any feedback 😊

What do you have to do to put it into this calibration mode?

Your still not tamping correct. Try to twist the top of the tamper to free the spring!
@thriving_on_plantz23475 ай бұрын
Yes I messaged him on his last video to twist the top portion of his tamper to release the spring mechanism but I don’t think he has seen the message yet. I did the same thing at first until I figured out you had to twist it lol! Ninja needs to add another sticker on the tamper so buyers know to twist the top.

@@thriving_on_plantz2347good to know! Thanks for this information! He might have also already filmed these videos together; so editing and stuff is done. Maybe in the next batch filmed videos he’ll make that correction…. 😅 Also just watched the full video, this is a clip from the original video (the hour long first one he posted)… He probably took out this part so it would be easier for people to find what they are looking for…

@@DIYQUEENbyRienna Ahhhhhh yeah now I see he clipped a segment from the other one so he just hasn’t seen my messages yet :)

Hi, I enjoy your videos. I just bought one BUT why are we wasting so many beans??? Fresh beans are expensive. No idea why your throwing them out. This shouldn’t have to happen. Please tell me why your wasting bean$? Thanks
@RainorShine12 ай бұрын
It is called dialing in the esspresso machine if you do not know what size grind you need, as each bean and roast is different, so if you change brands or roast you have to dial in or you will not get a good shot of espresso or coffee. That's how espresso machine work. This is not a drip coffee

@ hmm I see. Well I use fresh roasted beans. I change to a different bean after each bag. I have wasted so many beans with this machine :( i think its meant for someone that uses the same beans all the time. Thanks for the reply.

@@trellaine201I waste means when dialing in on my Breville Bariata as well. It’s just part of the process I think. My local barista gave me a free bag of beans without even knowing my machine so I could learn how to dial. It is definitely unfortunate when we are using fresh beans though! But comes with the passion I guess.

Oh that grind sound bad lol

Yeah something's not right. Looks like his electricity outlet doesn't provide enough voltage or his machine isn't working properly.
