For those that did not understand what Inuarashi meant here is the explanation: When you normally enter the New World you are supposed to choose one island out of the 3 suggested by the Log Pose, go to one of them, then choose between other 3 and so on. At the end of this journey there is one final island on which is revealed the existance of the Road Ponegriffs, which show the road to Raftel. This explains how Roger "had to do everything from start". He had to start searching for them throughout the World. The Straw Hats did not take this path as since when they got to the New World they: - went to Punk Hazard to answer the SOS call - went to Dressrosa with Law ignoring whatever the Log Pose was pointing to - went to Zou to search for Raizo, which is not an "island" and thus does not have a magnetic field that can be caught by the Logs. They had already left "the right path" long ago, going around as they pleased and they were lucky to have found a Road Ponegriff randomly and someone who explained them what they had to do... getting this information from some who had been on Roger's ship... whose lord actually knew how to read and write the characters from those Ponegriff's... which would explain the writing on Skypeia... This can be said to have been done by Oda to give and explanation as to how NO ONE was able to get to Raftel in 800 years, it was not just "hard", it was impossible without proper knowledge, kmowledge known only by the lords of Wano, a country not affiliated with the WG which had actually prohibited this knwoledge

When we were for the first time in the Sabaody archipelago he had no problem telling them whatever information they wanted, both the 100 years void and the existance of the One Piece, but Robin and Luffy refused because Robin wanted to learn it on her own and have her own interpretation while Luffy responded with the famous "If I learn that the One Piece exists or not I'll stop being a pirate altogether! What is the point of going on an adventure if you don't have fun along the way!". They could have asked how to get there, but really nothing would have changed from the question Usopp made, Crocus I'd say didn't tell them because it was too soon, they had just entered Paradise and he didn't know if they would survive there, let alone the New World. He had already made a leap of faith telling them about Raftel. That is the only explanation I can think of right now. It was just too soon(obviously this is inside the story, from outside we can tell that the Road Ponegriffs were not though of yet.

To be precise, what they are saying is the the end of the New World isn't the real end. On the "last island" of the New World, there is apparently something that explains after the Void Century, the Rio Poneglyph, and the Road Poneglyphs that lead one to Raftel. After that, it comes down to you having to hunt down the Road Poneglyphs and decrypt them to get the map to Raftel to get the One Piece. By finding out about this on Zou, the Straw-Hat have in effect circumvented the entire need to go through the rest of the New World at all. That is also meant to explain why there was "Yonko" that have been in the New World for decades yet still haven't found Raftel, because they haven't managed to get the Road Poneglyphs and decrypt them. What makes it more complicated is that Kaido and Big Mom each have one, which means no one can get easy access to the Road Poneglyphs even if they knew how to decrypt them. With Robin, Luffy has already decrypted one of the Road Poneglyphs, which gives him 1/4 of the map to Raftel, which means he'd further along than even Kaido or Big Mom, because while they each have a Road Poneglyph, they can't decrypt them to get the Log Point. On the flip side, they need to keep Luffy and Robin away from their Road Poneglyphs because if Luffy can have Robin read them he will get more of the map and basically leave Big Mom and Kaido with nothing of any real value.

Master Dog and Cate Viper were referring to the fact that if they followed the log pose they would arrive at the place where all the pirates arrive at the end of the grand line but in that place there is no raftel, but there are just them they would discover that they have to collect the 4 road poneglyft. Then the mugiwaras are already looking for the road ponglyft before they had even reached the place at the end of the grand line where they would supposedly realize that there was no raftel and realize that they have to look for the ponglyft.

It's not that the log pose is unnecessary. It's more that Luffy and gang have coincidentally found a shortcut. The log pose was meant to lead to a place that explains the road poneglyphs and how to get to Raftel using them. The strawhats just kinda got lucky by finding a road poneglyph directly and made friends with people who knew what they were for. It's all about karma - they helped out the Minks, and they were rewarded. :)

That is why he always waits or insists for people to tell what they really want. Nami asking luffy to help her, Robin saying she wants to live, vivi saying she wishes to save her country, momo asking for help to take down the shogun and kaido

If reiglegh and oden knows about the history of the world because they are part of roger's crew that means SHANKS also knows. And he is still alive up till now and it seems that people forget that shanks is also in Rogers ship and maybe he also reached raftel I think.

To clarify the navigation part with Nami, Roger said One Piece is at the end of the Grandline. In reality, the end of the Grandline (using the log pose) brings you to somewhere else where you'll learn about the poneglyphs and Raftel being the true end. From there you'll have to start the Grandline all over. The Strawhats are straight up just looking for Raftel the true end, so they're basically doing what would be considered Roger's second trip but from the start, so they're ahead of most pirates looking for One Piece. One of Roger's accomplishments was conquering the Grandline twice, but it turns out that's only because he had to do it again to actually find One Piece. Nami thought Raftel was THE end to the Grandline and was worried about going off track. Inuarashi was just assuring her that theyre going in the right direction by looking for Raftel cause they already know about it and the poneglyphs

realistically if you have 3 of the road poneglyphs you would eventually find raftel if you go in a triangle connecting the 3 islands it could take who knows how long however doing this approach

The reason using only three of the poneglyphs doesn't work is that Raftel could be anywhere directly between any two of those three points, and those two points could be thousands of miles apart. If I told you to find the island of Guam (no one knowing where Guam actually was) telling you it was somewhere between Taiwan, Catalina Island, and Easter Island, it'd take decades to find it. That's ~20,000 miles of ocean to search through, with no Grand Line nonsense to contend with.
