I love gaming, especially story based games, as they’re basically interactive art. Good games tend to make their players feel accomplished as they improve and adapt. That being said, losing is a part of multiplayer games. Being frustrated in the moment is one thing, but refusing to accept that loss and get over it is dumb. It is entertainment at the end of the day, and acting like it’s comparable to a sport that requires years of mastery makes other gamers look bad.

in some instances the "Its just a game" sometimes IS shitty but thats because for example red dead online I've paid MONEY for a good experience and even more afterwards, but games that I don't need to spend money on for a fun time yes im probably just being a baby who can't control there emotions but that happens with every one, the "just a game" is probs more used by non-gamers who don't get the angry and repetitive state you and your character are in, its mainly not there fault, there probably just trying to make you think rationally

It's sad how Ninja is basically implying that Fortnite takes more skill than kicking for an NFL team, and saying how you should rage at video games. Thats ridiculous. All it does if you get mad is take the fun out of games. Why do people play games to begin with? To have fun. Sure, you can be competitive and still have fun, but wanting to improve doesn't have to include getting upset every time you lose. I've had my fair share of moments where I've gotten upset, but I've grown into the mindset that it's better to simply have fun with a game than to focus on winning 24/7. It's unhealthy and not something I want to do, which is why I've strayed away from many competitive games or settings.

The only resonable way to react to is just a game is when someone cheats/hacks, griefs or tries to ruin your expiriance 99% situations are the online games. Being bad at games or RL sports is ok. Losing or winning in single or online games or in RL sports, yes it's just a game chill out.

I dont think that ninja meant it like that, i think he wanted to say that u should always try to improve to evolve not just at fortnite but at anything that means anything to u, and to not accept where u are and be happy with it.
