I fill the flavor pods with one lemon one lime concentrate so that way I can have flavored water without the sucrose or the extra sugar. And that's worked really well for me. It's just a suggestion you might want to try and if you mix them with the water it kind of tastes like a Sprite without the sugar

I see the flavour pods in stock in walmart and Canadian Tire. I found it better value refilling the pods with the water enhancers from grocery stores and walmart. You can even find "Crush" soda refills. The white pods dispenses 3ml and the typical serving of these are also 3ml. And the non-ninja liquid refills are only $2.49. I've picked up 60L (non ninja brand) from Walmart (Canada) for $9.

I have not had trouble reordering the drops in the US. I estimated costs at $0.41/drink for the drops and $0.20 per drink for CO2 using the refill program. Cans of soda locally are $7.99/ per 12 pack, $0.66 each, so Ninja is competitive. I also love Hint waters which are really spendy ($14.99/ 12 pack, $1.25 each), but not carbonated. The Ninja beats them easily since you are paying for drops only, and tastes just like Hint. I do like the convenience and having the choice to get different flavors. It would definitely be cheaper to just drink plain water (which I do), but the Thisti is fun and the price is competitive with my local grocery bottled products. I do like that there is less plastic waste.

I like the sodastream because its not electric but i like the thirsti because of the kool factor i have both as far as the ninja thirsti flavors i thought were terrible and sodastream flavors are alot better but i do drink my carbonated water without flavors!I was told the blue co2 tanks also go out of stock and you can use them in the thirsti the model sodastream i have is a pink co2 and that seems to be in stock more often! As far as the money goes i dont find it to bad because im not using flavors and i consume alot of carbonated water so its worth it to me!

Here’s how to save some cash. You can use simplisoda canister - in the USA, they are the ones that fill the Ninja CO2 tanks. They are cheaper and if you use their app it’s half price compared Ninja. For flavor, you can continue to use Ninja pod *OR* you can use soda stream bubbly flavors *OR* any other brand flavors (MiO, Stur or syrups etc). Don’t limit yourself and enjoy

Hi, Jamie & Marc! I support your reason why you don't use the Thirsty anymore. Yeah, that is a kind of huge monthly bill. I would suggest using it now sparingly when guests come over for sparkling wine spritzers! Instead of using water, put wine in the reservoir. Minimal fizz carbonation and BOOM! Wine spritzers!!! Perfect for Friday evening "happy hours" or HNIC (you know me, ever the hockey freak)!!! Love your videos, Gentlemen!!! Nancy

@@TheAverageKitchen I would first strain the wine either through the brown coffee filter. Or cheesecloth. The sediment in the wine could really mess up the machine badly! One of my patients thought they would be "funny" and put white wine in their water cooler for an office Christmas party. Well, the water cooler got stopped up with wine sediment. What a mess! Thank you for all you do!!! Nancy

I fill my flavor pods with lemon and lime juice. Concentrates separate them in two different pods and we really like that option and it's a lot cheaper than buying the pods but I also use it that way. I don't buy energy drinks anymore and ice make them. I know they have so close and both Celsius and the ninja flavors for the energy drink

I have a sodastream, and it was the cost of the canisters that killed my use of it. There isnt a local place where i can exchange them; so I was required to use a third party mail service. Just wasnt worth it. Now I've never used syrups; rather instead i like to just throw frozen fruit into my carbonated water and use them as ice cubes; they provide flavor as they thaw.
