That Episode was awesome! Those shredder clones sure brings a memory back to 2003 Series and even the turtle van is back too from 19987 series. Wow some many surprise in this series

i think the reason ppl bitched like they did is because the 2k3 show was the closest to the comic you can get, as it was ran by fox, and laird (mirage studios). (eastman sold his rights in 2000) and in the comics, shredder stayed dead after issue #1. tmnt wasn't like other comics that did that bringing back from the grave or throw in some series altering retcon bs. and the mutated shredders were karai's attempts to solidify the foot clan, as they were never the same after shredders death. but no attempt was ever successful, and the foot stayed splintered.

(you get that 03 reference?) it seems like more and more april is become less of a character and more of a deus ex. careful with that nick. otherwise a fun episode. CellSpex I don't think all the EPF is under Kraang control, just a few soldiers they grabbed during the invasion to man the quarantine wall surrounding the city. I highly doubt Bishop would've sent all his forces at once, probably has more in reserve. I wonder why the regular US military didn't get involved though, at least the National Guard...

Next week is totally the introduction of Bebop and Rocksteady. Also, something that is seriously starting to but me is how the Turtles keep getting their weapons back no matter how damaged or lost they get. Like in this episode Leo drops one of his swords in a vat of mutagen, then in the next scene, he has it back. How? It was at the bottom of a vat of mutagen! How did he get it back?

BDWJ1986 Even in the live action movies where they lose their weapons at points but then they're back later. Like they threw away their weapons at the end of the first movie but the second movie they have them back and they look unchanged so I doubt they made new ones.

I never had the chance to read the original comics growing up, but I feel like this story of them losing to the Shredder and coming back to New York is a reference to the 2003 series. I think this is really cool because the 2003 series was what I grew up on and is amazing! Nice to see a 2003 reference. Those don't happen as often as the 80's references do.

Asian Equation​​ I just saw it, character design is quite different, but my favorite part of this show is taking recognizable stuff us fans expect, and twist them making them fresh and interesting. So while Im a little disappointed Hun is not bulky he does look badass

Black Nerd Comedy This was the best episode. I am literally picking up the bits and pieces of my brain right now, the intro, the episode itself, the fact that Bebop and Rocksteady are quite imminent in the next episode or two, and Hun is rumored to be appearing. TOO MUCH FOR ME. I just want to see Xever have a second mutation into Armaggon, I want to see more Newtralizer, more Slash, more Timothy, and less Mikey screwups. Another thing, I guess we won't be seeing anyone from Northhampton anytime soon. Maybe Speed Demon, or Creep, but not likely. I wonder if all the mutants were captured and then under mind control and they'll have to save them like in Metalhead Rewired. Overall, 9.5/10, I'll add the .5 when they stop making Mikey an idiot.

So back in the 90s movie, Rah makes the comment "Now I know what it's like to travel without a greencard" when they make it back to NYC, but I though it would never be referenced in the show. However, and this is really clutching at straws here, was it potentially referenced due to the fact that they were stopped at the BORDER of the city by Law Enforcement - basically what I'm saying is the turtles couldn't make the same trip twice because they got caught by Border Control. Again, a really big stretch, but I'm taking it.

Andre you forgot to talk about the fact where in the beginning of the episode Mikey said if the news reporter sounded a bit krangy to the other turtles. And then Raph was like "what are you on, the pepperoni"? Like he was basically referring to Mikey if he was on some sort of drug like am I the only one who is shocked about that
