Please consider some earplugs the “high fidelity” earplugs you find on amazon meant for concerts still let in sound, so you can hear the bike still, but blocks out the loud damaging sounds especially the wind. If your ears are ringing you are damaging them so avoid causing anything permanent while you still can.

Do you ever ride out towards the mountains west of Warrenton? Route 211, and it's a blast on the 4R. Its also perfect for the tight and narrow hollow roads, basically like go kart tracks. On my 600RR most of the roads where a 1st and 2nd gear affair, but I can actually go through the gears and rev it out on the Zx4R.

tareq, here in Brazil a friend's Zx4 engine blew due to lack of oil. The oil dropped very quickly and he didn't see it. Kawasaki gave a guarantee, but now he's afraid of having problems again! Do you know of any cases there??
@aidenlothian964210 күн бұрын
It's a performance engine and it rev's constantly. Its gonna consume oil. Poor maintenance. That was probably weeks of not looking at the oil level. Not burning a single drop of oil is a myth. I've done a few oil consumption tests on various bikes. Most bikes I've owned take 2000-3000 miles to use an entire 1ltr bottle of oil. Brazil is an even hotter climate than where I ride.
@motorspeed3519 күн бұрын
@@aidenlothian9642 Thank you brother for the information, really here in Brazil we have a very hot and arid climate which means that maintenance has to be a little more advanced thanks for the information and let's talk

Man I love this bike. The problem is that I'm a new rider and in the EU I would have to ride it limited to 35KW, and because of the nature of the inline 4 it would be awful. So going with a RS660 instead, hopefully they are still available in a few years.
@dce618010 күн бұрын
I got mine limited to 48 hp and its not an issue at all. Low end isn't bad as many people say on the internet. It reaches high rpm fast enough not to worry about being 'too slow'. My papers say its limited to 180 kph but I had like 205 at one point.
@hyper_channel10 күн бұрын
@@dce6180 Oh, that's interesting. Is it a mechanical limitation or ECU? I know there's no official way to limit it from Kawasaki
@dce618010 күн бұрын
@@hyper_channel It's a electronic throttle. And you're right, Kawasaki does not offer one themselves. It's from a company called 'Alpha Technik'. Costs like 250-300€ to be installed
