When you look at it - at a time when Jellal was in prison and Erza almost blacked out and lost a battle - she somehow heard him tell her not to give up - though them being miles and miles apart - I just claim them soul mates and they are undoubtly my favorite ship in FT - I would so love to see them get really together when the series ends

I ship Jellal x Erza so hard, because it's been proven MANY times, that they love each other. Erza always looked up to him as a leader, when they were kids in the Tower of Heaven, she never really resented him, but more likely just curious about what happened to him, and tried to save him. Simon said it himself, Erza can definitely beat Jellal in a fight, but her feelings for him is too strong, and she is still trying to save him. Also, when Jellal was revived by Wendy, Erza was in tears, that the old Jellal was back, but was so soon in trying to destroy himself with Nirvana. After the Nirvana Arc, he was being arrested, but she thought in her mind, "I finally got to see the old Jellal again, he's just been saved, I won't let you take him away again!" Only until Natsu and the rest fought them, to bring him back, to make Erza happy. Not enough proof? In episode 154, it was a slight accident, but they toppled over, and them sharing their mutual feelings, then they almost kissed. The reason they didn't kiss, was because Jellal stated that he can't be with someone who follows the light, and he stated that he'd only hurt Erza more, as his way of atoning for his sins. "As long as Erza is happy, it's more than enough for me." further proves that he cares about her and loves her.
