Secondhand Serenade is very insperational. When I get upset, they always seem to have song to perfectly descrive each situation. It's a shame this band isn't more well known. This is potentially the best band I've ever heard. I wish I could personally thank them. Their songs helped me get out of my consistant depression, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. 8 years ago, i lost someone that i never thought i could. When we were younger, we made a promise on a cold thursday night over the phone, we swore we will get together when we are old enough coz we knew we were too young. I went to visit some friends a while back, in the town where my ex lives. They had an open mic night at the bar my friends liked going to, and they wanted me to sing this. My ex-fiance and I had just broken up a couple months prior to all of this, and I dedicated it to him. His girlfriend at the time happened to be there too, recognized me, and confronted me after I finished, and we sat down, talked, and I'd unintentionally opened her eyes to the scum of the Earth human being he really was inside. She dumped him two weeks later, and now, over a year later, her and I are good friends, we're both dating amazing men, and our ex works in a mechanic shop, wasting that culinary arts degree he worked oh-so-hard for. Good God I love Karma :)
