Why does everyone forget about the snake general who served the time twins? She was advising them half the time, intelligent, competent, completed her objectives when she was around, and actually won some battles with the ninja. She was only stopped then the twins just made her, and her army stop existing anymore. Not to mention with her abilities to come back after being beaten, hive mind knowledge and communication, respected authority from her soldiers, and always had fall back plans. Not to mention how the united Serpentine knew that even though they are now stronger than in times past (play on words) were no match for them in a war.

I guess the fact that Chen didn't need water or wind was cleared up in The Island when it is revealed that water and wind aren't elemental powers that come from TUSM. Rather they come from Wojira.

@@SDUBNation I just think the other villains were better than him. I think Morro and Pythor coud both share the same spot, because I think they are equally good villains. I put Morro on number 6, because I did not think he was that evil, like the others and he did what he did only because he felt that the destiny and master Wu were unfair to him becuase he dedicated all of his life to be able to become the green ninja. Chen is just a crazy mastermind, I really like his character, and take on the villain - stupid on the outside, a mastermind in the inside. Harumi was definitly a villain type we never saw before. The new take on this villain just made her more interesting to watch then a lot of the others. Nadakhan was a very smart and very twisted bad guy and the fact that he was able to eliminate all ninja except jay and nya also shows how good of a villain he was. He did so much damage to ninjago (even killed PIXAL) so the only way to stop him,was literally to make that he never did those evil things in the first place. And finally - Garmadon. The OG ninjago villain. He's just amazing! He has gone thro so much, his character changed time and time again. And I think that for being a main antagonist for 4 seasons he just deserves the number one spot.

Here's my ranking, I'm not including all these generals like Kozu nor giant monster like the Great Devourer. 14.Omega - I think we can all agree that the Oni were underwhelming. Hyped throught Seasons 8 and 9 they turned out to be copy+paste army, without any motivation other than "I'M EVIL BECUASE I'M EVIL.". And that's basically what Omega is a boring, missed opportunity. We know nothing about him, was he the first oni? A random general? One of the Warlords? Guess, we'll never know, but for now he's just a bad villain. At least he looked good. 13. Iron Baron - Meh, just meh. I loved Dragon Hunters, they are my favourite army, but their leader? He was no threatening at all, altough his design was really good (Top hats for the win!) and I like the fact that they hinted that he killed his fellow warriors just to stay in power. 12. Aspheera - Everything was cool and all, before it turned out that her motivation didn't make sense. After all, she was the one who betrayed Wu (She lied to him and used Spinjitzu for evil). It would be much more interesting if Wu actually betrayed her. Also, her constant yelling about Revenge was really cartoonish and overdramating. Her design was really good tho. 11. Sensei Yang - A wasted opporunity. He was great in Possesion, and in Day of the Departed his storyline was too rushed. I like the fact that they tried to make him a sympathetic villlain, but his transition from Evil Ghost Master to a sad guy who wanted to be remembered was too sudden. However, I like his backstory, him trying to achieve immortality really fits into Dotd's remembering the ones who are gone motive. 10. The Time Twins - Yet another wasted opportunity. Their powers were really interesting and I liked the dynamic between them, with Krux being against technology and Acronix loving it. But they lacked a very important thing, motive. They were evil becuase they just thought that their power was better than others. That's not very original. I would say they were mediocre like the rest of Season 7. 9. The Overlord - I know, I know. Many people really like this character, but I have no idea why. He's basically a better version of Omega. He has no reason for being evil, but what makes him far better than the Oni leader is the fact that he's actually intimidating. I liked that he started as a weak spirit and manipulated Garmadon and eventually became one of the strongest foes Ninja ever had to face. Also, unlike Omega we know Overlord's backstory too. But his biggest flaw is the fact that he is generic Dark Lord type of character that we've seen countless times in other media. 8. Vex - I don't really have much to say here. He was a good villain, but he didn't stand out in any way. I like the fact that he manipulated Zane, but I would like if they fleshed out his past more and we could actually see him not being accepted by other Formlings. 7. Pythor - A really fun villain, he was great on-screen with all of his manipulation, scheming and British accent. However his plan of unleashing a giant monster and then being surprised that it backfired on him was pretty dumb. His return in Reeboted was really unexpected and I loved that twist. 6.Master Chen - I love the fact that he seems like a complete idiot at first and turns out to be an evil mastermind. I loved Tournament of Elements and Chen's playful and insane personality was really made this season special. 5. Unagami - One of the most sympathetic villains in the whole show. His reunion with Dyer at the end of the season is one of my favourite scenes. The UNfinished Adventure GAMe I was a really clever play on words and he was really intimidating when he spoke to Okino in "The Maze of the Red Dragon". The biggest problem with him is the lack of screentime. 4. Nadakhan - I love how he used his intelligence to twist Ninja's wishes, also he's a pirate genie, how cool is that? His plan of avenging his realm made sense, but him just going mad with power and betraying his crew in the end was out of character for him. 3. Garmadon - Oldest villain in the show, his first appearance being in the pilots. Because of the fact that he appeared so many times and had so much devlopment it's no surprise he's so high on the list. The best part of his character is the fact that he is constantly changing. From a Dark Lord in the pilots to a sympathetic villain, caring for his son in seasons 1-2, to a wise master in seasons 3-4 to a emotionless monster in seasons 8-9 and finally a morally-conflicted man in Season 10. He's just a really interesting character. 2.Morro - A fan favourite, I do have to agree he is a great villain. He had an amazing backstory, a homeless kid being told that he was going to be a legendary hero only to realize he was not the chosen one, he won't become the hero. Can we appreaciate how badass he was with all this cheating the destiny and Wind Powers? An amazing character, but there is one better villain and I think you know who it is. 1.Fugidove - Do I have to say anything? The way he flies, so inspiring and handsome and- The actual no. 1. - Harumi - I love season 8. And I love Harumi. She is a living reminder of Ninja's mistakes, of all the people they failed to save. I love the fact that her backstory was linked to the very first season of Ninjago, the fact that she made the whole team think she was just a damsel in distress. Her motive and goal actually made sense. That's my ranking!

Here’s my ranking of NINJAGO’s main villains as of season 10 since I have not watched season 11 and 12 yet (I did not include henchman like Samukai, Cryptor, and Clouse): 10: The Omega (I was really excited to see the Oni. However, I was massively disappointed with what I got. The Omega could have worked, but he just didn’t. He was boring, had absolutely no personality to speak of, did not seem threatening at all, was only in three episodes, barely spoke, and when he did he sounded like a possessed version of Stitch, and his defeat was just sudden and confusing. Nothing about him or the Oni were interesting or entertaining, which is a shame since two of the previous main villains were amazing. 9: Iron Baron (he just didn’t seem like a threatening villain at all. Not once did I enjoy a scene with him, and I kept wanting the First Realm storyline to end and go back to The Resistance storyline. I thought his defeat was somewhat amusing at least. Other than that though, nothing.) 8. The Overlord (I know a lot of people view him as the best villain but I just don’t. He has no personality to speak of, and is just a boring villain. However, I did enjoy one or two scenes with him in Rebooted) 7. The Time Twins (They aren’t bad villains. They are pretty entertaining actually. However, their endgame was really weird, I couldn’t stand the Vermillion, and the jokes with them were really annoying) 6. Chen (I loved season 4, and Chen was a pretty solid villain. His plan was really creative, and his endgame was exciting. However, he was too comedic at some points, and there were even times where he seemed like a pawn of his servant Clouse.) 5. Pythor (I originally viewed him as my favorite main villain. He was really threatening in season 1, and was extremely entertaining. However, there were too many inconsistencies with his character afterwards. Why didn’t he show back up in season 2 if he survived? Why is his voice hoarse in his first episode in season 3, then back to normal in the next episode? Why is he a villain again in Day of the Departed? He would have been higher if he didn’t have so many problems) 4. Morro (He is a great villain. There were a ton of scenes with him that were amazing. His endgame was one of the best season finales in the series. However, I have seen his backstory already in films like Kung Fu Panda, and the ghosts weakness being water is sort of stupid. Despite that, Morro is far from a poor villain) 3. Nadakhan (I was originally hesitant to see him as the main villain when he first appeared. However, he really won me over within the second episode. He is incredibly threatening, had a really interesting backstory, and I have never seen a NINJAGO villain with a more creative appearance than Nadakhan. If it weren’t for Season 6’s timeline being reset, he would have been in the top 2) 2. Lord Garmadon (he was definitely the most interesting character in the first two seasons. I was really disappointed to find out that he was just The Overlord’s pawn at the end of Season 2, but Season 8 and 9 brought him back as a villain, and finally made good on the promise of a fight between him and Lloyd. He was an extremely interesting villain in season 1 and 2, and the most threatening villain in the show’s entire run so far in season 8 and 9. Had the filler episodes and the Overlord stealing the main villain spot not happened, Garmadon would have easily been number 1 without a doubt.) 1. Harumi (I was not expecting to rank her as the best NINJAGO villain, but I had no choice. She was a perfect villain. I honestly did not expect her to be “The Quiet One.” I was expecting another appearance from The Overlord, and she would just be a generic love interest for Lloyd. However I was really taken off guard by the reveal. Her backstory on why she became a villain was incredible, and Britt McKillip gave an amazing performance for the character. Every scene with her after she was revealed to be a villain was great. There was not one lame moment with her. Her death was also a satisfying conclusion to her character. She didn’t completely redeem herself, but she showed that she wasn’t completely heartless, and that is good enough for me. Harumi is my favorite NINJAGO villain, and the one I consider to be the best)

Here is my list. (I forgot Pythor, but I would place him between Chen and the overlord.) (And Cryptor, he would be between kozu and Chen) 14. Unagami. This season was very un-original and the sets were just annoying. 13. Harumi. I don’t know what it was with her, I just really did not like her and her plot line. 12. Aspherra. Aspheera was just plainly annoying. Her plot was un-original, and it was very de-evolved from recent/other villains. 11. Oni. I basically just agree with him on this one. 10. Vangelis. Vangelis was rushed and un-original, cool concept though. 9. Vex. Vex was a pretty cool developed character. 8. Nadakhan. Nadakhan was a cool character and very well executed, but what killed it was the ending of season 6, with the wish. 7. Sensai Yang. Yang was rushed and I would have liked to see more of him. 6. Kozu. Kozu was a very nice character, and I enjoyed his small role in the series. 5. Chen. Chen was a cool character and I enjoyed him and Clouse. 4. Overlord. Overlord was cool and I really enjoyed him. 3. Garmadon. Garmadon was one of the best villains Ninjago ever had. 2. Morro. This was a hard pick between him and number 1, and really I love them all the same, but Morro was very well used. 1. Krux and Acronix. Clearly, the time twins was a very loved villain, and was the only villains who the ninja never defeated, and can be seen to still be alive.
