Skybound has always been my least favourite season, ever since it came out. Back in 2016 it almost made me stop watching Ninjago because my younger self thought 'Wow the new season was so bad, I don't like Ninjago anymore'. Thank god Day of the Departed and Hands of Time pulled me back. Even though Crystalized has a lot of issues, probably even more than Skybound, I can't bring myself to actually hate it as much as Skybound. In the last few years I have tried to do a proper rewacth of Skybound so many times. Yet I never make it past the first five minutes of the first episode, before I start skipping a lot of parts. The first nine episodes are so unwatchable to me. I just can't stand them. Meanwhile The Way Back is actually somewhat decent. I don't get how so many people don't like it as a finale for this season. If the first nine episodes would have been better, Nya's temporary death would actually be one of the saddest moments of the show for me.
