@@steveminecraft4364 the idiom is an oversimplification of the theme, its basically stating the theme of the season rather than showing it. Show, not tell. Sog and hunted did that well, but i think the cookie crumbles thing was a bit too out of place

Wow... as a writer, i'm usually pretty mello about things that happen in books and shows beyond watery eyes during emotional scenes, but while listening to this, my heart clenched from knowing what would happen to nya... the soundtrack gave me more emotions than the scene itself, that just goes to show how amazing it is.

2:26 This might be my favourite part of this whole video, because they keep building up to a different theme, but at about 2:52, just when you think they're going to trhow you into the True Potential motif, it doesn't. It isn't a part of a set, Nya make's sure that when she becomes a ninja, she refuses to let it replace her own chosen identity. Because she isn't simply Kai's sister, or Jay's girlfriend, or Samurai X or the Water Ninja: She's *Nya.* Which is why, at 2:54, we don't get the True Potential theme, we get Nya's theme, because if the True Potential motif had played that would mean she's just another elemental ninja discovering some greater power. She's Nya, taking her own destiny into her own hands. Of course, the True Potential theme is still *present,* because she is still discovering her True Potential, but it's not at all in center stage. And actually, the whole concept of deciding your own fate ties into really well with Lloyd and Morro's storylines and- Anyways thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
