It doesn't even look like his damage was that much, pretty all standart combos are still below 30% or around it. But his frames and cooldowns were so cool in beta :(

Like, his attacks aren't safe, his laucher is 24 frames, his mix ups are not 50/50 and they're hard to perform in real high pace fight, his slide is slow in comparison to 9/MKX/MK11.

No they murdered Sub after Beta, it's ridiculously stupid what they did. He is a high risk low reward character that's punishable on everything including jailing into 12/21 from D1 can't even take his turn back safely. Gaps in: 12, 21, 122, 212, 34, B34, 44, F123 Only safe move is F12 which is -7 on block and it's punishable by 3 characters. He's easy the worst in the game without Lao Kameo! His Divekick and Clone are punishable on reaction UpBlock and Backdash for Divekick and Armor/normals/Kameos for Clone.

I don't think Ninja will main Liu in this game. Unlike MKX and MK11, Liu seems like a zoning character in this game and that seems like the complete opposite of what NK whats his character to do. I think he would like a character like Smoke. Very rush down heavy character

Ninjakilla, don't worry about Liu Kang's rank as a character when the game gets released and all of the characters are unveiled. There will be plenty of other kameos to choose from to enhance Liu Kang's mobility and defense. If you pick the right kameo, then Liu Kang will become powerful. Kameos won't just be used for offense and combo extensions.

Honestly I’m fine with how his now mostly however clone timer needs to go down to 3.5 seconds, and regular clone recovery needs to have the same recovery as beta so that you HAVE to use reversal timing to punish it. That way it’s fair. Clone the way it is now isn’t on the screen for that long and there are times you can poke through it, some characters can even low profile it. At least let him be have an ACTUAL mind game off it that requires a reversal punish and have access to it slightly more often that way it balances out. Make ex-ice ball come out faster so he can ACTUALLY trade, and make F12 -6 those are the only buffs he needs then he’s perfect. He doesn’t shoot up on their tier list just becomes slightly better and can play the game.

Funniest thing about this is that he didn’t even use Subs true 50/50 which is 1,2, slide or 2,1 slide. Which can also be made a combo off MB. He also didn’t use Kano which makes his overhead plus and allows F1,2,3 to be a true mind game between F1,2 klone and is also a full combo or plus on block
