@soriso717 i understand, and I'm not completely knocking it. I definitely understand there is an audience for this kind of gameplay. It's just not for me. I prefer simple game mechanics like the base BTD6 is. For me this game mode is over complicated. If you watch tewbre whenever they played the Rogue like mod, I actually couldn't stand those videos, and I'm certain this seems similar and probably inspired by that mod. I'm sure it's going to be great to some, but, just too much work to me.

Jeez, BTD6 is absolutely huge, and this DLC just makes it even bigger. Hopefully they add more stages as time goes on, but even still this is really cool. Also, it's awesome to see how many ways the classic Tower Defense formula can be altered. Popcap, I beg of you, take note.

this seems really fun. I just really hope the artifacts lean more towards gameplay changes rather than stat changes. Cause even though it can be fun to have certain towers get extra boosts, having dynamic changes to towers such as making projectiles split/bounce, making projectiles homing, or something wild like making towers explode or something would really help differentiate this mode from the standard BTD6 gameplay, and prevent it from going stale too fast

@ from what Ive heard there are a few things "leaked". I know that there is an artifact that makes all monkeys count as magic monkeys and another one that buffs all magic monkeys in attack speed and projectile speed, but slightly nerfs the range. This would make new strategies happen, but would also make you plan ahead incase you are ever going to fight a dreadbloon

Exactly. This isn’t a new game mode like boss rush was, but isn’t enough to warrant a whole new game. So having a paid dlc is a good middle ground. And I’m more than happy to support ninja kiwi after all the content they’ve given us over the years.

Bought both extras x2 cash and the other one that let u start from higher rounds to make it faster and i think is it completly worth for how many hours of gameplay and fun I'm getting. I was SO stoked by this I personally DMed Rohan to tell him how excited I was! SO glad you found a way to incorpoate the thrill of Bloons Monkey City's level design and elements into BTD6. I often am too busy to do long 85+ round stages, but this having a variety of really short stages feels perfect for my busy schedule. Plus as I told him, this sounds like the right way to go for games in modern day. Make one big game and just update and edit it with paid DLC over time for new modes. It's kind of the best of both worlds as you still get income for the hard work you all do, and we get to enjoy updates to our favorite game at our own pace and it's a bit more reliable than In App purchases. You're all so generous but this will be a great way to keep supporting our favorite game developing company and continue to see more awesomer things in the future!

The idea is great but... I don't know, I feel like it still lacks new gimmicks to make it feel fully alive, fresh and new, right now (TO ME) it just looks like another average game mode more, like odyssey and similar things... I respect the people's opinnion tho, but... Yeah, definitely won't be paying for this at least until it receives some juicy updates(if it ever does) that spice up the gameplay and make it feel different than the average btd6 experience(because I have already played normal btd6 a lot and I feel burned by doing the same thing over and over) Still, keep up the great job Ninja Kiwi, you are very close to getting the formula that will actually give a fresh experience 🤙❤

So much content I still havent had time to black border anything in months and had to give up boss rush due to no in game communication with 15 player teams. Cannot even co-op bosses due to perma soft lock disconnects, but new stuff beats fixing things and adding functionality, right? Looks fun, but not spending a penny til the other stuff is fixed. Once we can co-op again and make the team stuff functional, you earned our 20 bucks.

Tbh I looked at the trailer and I had one thing to say, good concept, except the fact that u have to pay money to even play it, look, I get it is a dlc and it makes since to buy it. But tbh it ain't even a special boss, or a few maps or something like that. It is a new game mode that has never been seen, and the fact that u have to pay money for it is crazy. Like it's a new thing never seen and the free to play users are left in the dust and barley get to enjoy the main part of the update because it is behind a pay wall. It looks amazing and I get the amount of time put into it will be worth it. But the fact that u have to pay for a DLC which is completely revolutionary for this game and have it be put in a game, which already costs money. I have played games that cost money and have dlc before, so I get it. But the thing that makes it work is that their dlc is just extra of the mechanic already introduced. That is perfectly fine as it is just extra game behind a bit of extra money, but this is a completely new mechanic behind a pay wall. And for the other pay things that u can get in Btd6, it is fine in my opinion because it is just add one that make ur experience faster and easier. My idea is to either make a demo for free to play users can try, or make it free to all, but add extra content for people who r willing to pay that much money for it, or just make it free. Ik that this comment is not gonna change anything and maybe i heard it wrong, but I will stand by this, the dlc should not be paid for.
