What is destroying the people of Jamaica is lack of true leadership, and also the lack of vision is a factor. Jamaica created Reggae music and have no have no institution setup to harvest the energof this art form, right now Reggae music is the heart beat of planet Earth. Jamaica society need to get off it's path of falsehood and realign itself to take up a position where the creative energy of the citizen can be mobilize into an economic force, America owes Jamaica millions in royalty but still struggling to meet it's IMF obligation. To create jobs for youth of Jamaica the education system need to restructure to be more contributing to nation building, the present system is design to keep us as consumer to those who will always take advantage of our premature economical conditions. Who is representing the people of Jamaica when highest authority is granted to a figure the represent the British empire, your governor general, your defence force, your constable force and yes your government all respect and will protect the interests of the British empire. Now your own country man will brutalize under the disguise as law and order the same law order use to kept you in slavery. When you wear the symbol of Babylon, you will treat your own like animal, the peoples of Jamaica need a new direction where the rights of the people are fully protected. We need to chance symbols and titles that is dividing and keep our peoples ignorant, In Canada there is no true oppositions in their parliament there are united on collective interest and security, it is not so in Jamaica with the design and help from extremely vicious external forces, in association with the extremely ambitious and vicious internal forces to destabilize our nation foundation to get us back on their plantation, how can a man that betrayed a nation be the leader of that nation. My people nun fi know nun self Reggae music worth more than gold. The crown on our constable and defense force's have to go, Babylon you throne gone down.

I think its short sighted to suggest music doesn't influence culture. If we can say that Bob Marley's music and legacy shaped the way people see Jamaica, then how does it stand that dancehall wouldn't have the same effect? Music is culture and definitely shapes perception, and dancehall artists need to take accountability for the culture and environment they help create. Period!
