Pulmonary stenosis should actually cause wide splitting of S2, not pulmonary hypertension ,cause the latter will cause an early pulmonary valve closure ( and not delayed closure that would normally cause wide splitting S2)

I have a little doubt regarding decrease in intensity of murmer due to mitral prolapse on increasing afterload. Aortic pressure is high, so the blood isnt able to go through aorta, leading to incomplete ejection, which will force blood in to mv prolapse and cause murmer right, that's what i thought😅, why does it doesn't buckle on increasing afterload Somebody please explain
