Firstly, thank you for your instructive lesson! Then, I had a question: why could it be bad to have a lot of type 2x fibers if you then have to stop powerlifting for example? You said that the 2x fibers can not be retransformed in 2a fibers, but why could this have an bad impact on the health? Thanks in advance.

Very interesting! I have a question, If i work with heavy weights and combine with cardio sessions, can i still have bigger type II A muscle fibers with better vascularity or they will switch to type 1 fiber cauz of the endurance training?

Brother!! I wanted to ask you ... that myosin ATPase activity is dependent upon what mechanism..like in type 2x it's very fast and type 1 is slow or what exactly decides those myosin ATPase to act fast or slow in a particular type of muscle fiber 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️

Hi there! I'm workingon my personal trainer certification and I love how you explain, it's being really helpful. Just the same comment than the other guy, my book says the type IIx are the largest and fastest. And type IIa last up to 3 minutes (not 30) and force production between I and IIx. My book is ACE Essentials of Excercise Science for Fitness Professionals.
@JoeCannon15 жыл бұрын
Cynthia, go with your book. Did you pass your ACE test? I train trainers and was curious :)
