Hello from India.. Hey, professor zack, I discovered your videos a while back and I am learning cell biology from your playlist.. I just wanted to appreciate how amazing content you have made.. I did not learn cell biology well in my college classes but watching your videos has sparked a great interest about the subject in me.. So, thank you for your efforts and please keep making more amazing content. thanks a lot!! P.S. Can you please make a video on cell signalling and cell receptors?? that would be really helpful for me and oh yeah, also on chloroplast..

Sir is alcohol oxidized and form H2O2 or this is formed during beta oxidation?? During alchol detoxification hydrogen peroxide is breakdown or synthesize?? Need your help about this concept Will wait your answer.
@icamsdophatonine Жыл бұрын
H2O2 is formed by oxidases in peroxisomes. RH2 + O2 -> R + H2O2. Since hydrogen peroxide is a harmful substance, catalase breaks it down immediately. RH2 + H2O2 -> R + H2O. In beta oxidation time, the substance is oxidized and water (H2O) is formed from H2O2. At this time, the hydrogen peroxides contained in the peroxisomes are broken down. The same goes for alcohol. Alcohol detoxification time H2O2 is broken down (by catalase)

hi teacher from VietNam ! , i have a quest : i don't use eng usually so .. the process when we convert the BCFA to VLCFA is mean we break the chain ? and it call the alpha oxigenlation and then when we convert them to acetyl coA is call the B oxigenlation ?
@Th3OneWhoWaits2 ай бұрын
For beta oxidation in peroxisomes, I heard it stops at the 8 carbon octanoyl coa and continues in the mitochondria. Is this true?
