During the War arc, Hinata (16) was nearing to reach Neji's (18) powers but Neji is still stronger that time. Databook 4 confirmed this, as even though Hinata combined Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fists with 8 Trigrams 64 Palms and also learned Neji's Air Palm, she couldn't do the 8 Trigrams Heavenly Rotation (the 8 Trigrams Protection was filler) and was struggling to complete 64 Palms (Neji at 13 had 128 Palms too) as she even admitted that is the first time she perfected it at 16 wherein Neji was doing it at 13 back in Part 1 already. The only time Hinata really surpassed Neji was during "The Last" with Hamura Otsotsuki's chakra which is a "god-tier amp" to her chakra reserves. Another is that, Hinata was able to claim victory against a Jounin Hanabi during one of the Boruto novels, and this is a housewife Chunin Hinata in Boruto (sadly this was not animated). Canonically in Boruto Scarlet manga preview, Hinata was claimed to be a "master of Gentle Fist" already hence finally surpassing both Neji and Hanabi who were stronger than her before.

Therefore she became extremely weaker after the war. The Hamura's chakra was a one time only to destroy the tenseigan and replenish Naruto's chakra. In the Naruto Retsuden she beat Hanabi BUT it was stated pretty clear that Hanabi was holding back due to her love. The entire Hyuga clan rejected her as princess and she is substitued from Hanabi.
