It was very enjoyable dancing indeed! They rock :) I think they have the best latin vibe out of all currently competing couples. Nino is the epitome of true international latin dancer and I'm happy that his artistic expression is more lively, outgoing and is in harmony with that of Andra. Her final salsa bit was a tasty cherry on a cake :)

I’ve been watching them, especially Nino, for many years, and something is different. It was very enjoyable, but his customary passion and intensity seemed diminished. To me, it appeared as if his heart wasn’t in it. She has always been technically good but not particularly exciting. Perhaps it’s because of being out of competition so long. It takes a minute to get back up to speed.

The long brake certainly played its role, even for me as the videographer.. Getting up to speed will need more than one shot.

Marie Just Me Yeah, I’m not too impressed with this performance either. I think Nino (technically) is the best male dancer currently but is somewhat deficient in the charisma department anymore. He always looks like he’s either trying hard or disinterested (as you mention here), and Andra’s enthusiasm for authentic Latin is just not enough to sell this (and their competitive performance in general) effectively. Both are great dancers, but I think they kinda failed to produce something truly interesting as a couple, given their fantastic dance skills and the massive individual potential

It's quite sad to see him here being not much more than a background dancer for andras show. He had not a single part to show off how amazing of a dancer he is. It just looks like she overwhelmed him and he lost his faith somehow :(
