Just compare this samba to Andra's and Maurizio's 2016 samba performance in Paris (fierce blue dress). This samba is but a faint echo of what Andra used to be capable of delivering as a dancer and performer😞

In fairness to them and all the other top couples that constantly travel throughout the world demonstrate and compete, it must be tremendously physically taxing. You try doing it and see how you can keep up the tremendous energy requires every single time?

@@paulburrows5022 Oh, hi paul! I still remember our testy exchange! looks like you're back for more 🙂 Exerting energy is their job description. It's what they're getting paid for and getting paid pretty well. So, as pros, they owe it to their paying audience to deliver a quality performance commensurable with their current status. They are not dancers-martyrs, so let's not pretend that they are. However, their energy level is not the main problem here. Their dance content sucks. Plain and simple.

@@paulburrows5022 In this video, the dancers really look tired. But fatigue usually does not affect the level of performance of the technique. So the problem is not fatigue.
