I wrote this mod, and I thoroughly enjoyed Nino's playthrough! (the voices lols) If nino or ahvahh can send me some of the detective-style background music you used in your video I'd love to consider it for background music in the sheriff's office or apartment for the mod (assuming it's legal to do so). Someone on the stream wanted you to give Pierre mead after you put him in jail. I thought this was a great suggestion so in the newest version Pierre now has a special response to mead after his arrest event. If anyone else has suggestions they want to share for the mod there's a subreddit now (/r/lawandordersv). Thanks again Nino! Edit: OK I just noticed the thumbnail, wtf Nino, I did nothing to Shane. 59:19 D.A.R.E was the drug program in the USA during the 90s. after implementation, drug use among K-12 students skyrocketed by several hundred percent. the program entailed cops showing us street drugs, teaching us common ways to obtain them, telling us about how much they cost, and how the coolest and most popular kids are all doing drugs. but then they would tell us "just say no" it seemed intentionally designed to encourage kids to try illegal drugs and if so it really worked

@@snowleopard6016 it was discontinued in the 2000s if i understand correctly. if it's still going i hope it's drastically different because it honestly felt like the cops were there to "D.A.R.E" us to try illegal drugs, including basic instruction in how to use them (like "these are pipes for smoking x, these are rubber bands and needles for injecting y" lmao what a travesty)

9:26 Pelican Town, for all its troubles of economic depression, has prioritized community restoration over policing; if there was a cop, Pam would go to jail for DUI, Shane would go to jail for public intoxication, Linus would be targeted on some pretense for being homeless. the Farmer can fix their respective problems directly rather than punishing them for being troubled. acab, Nino, remember. also, Lewis absolutely is corrupt and the fact that community restoration falls to the Farmer rather than the tax fund reveals him as a villain. not sure jailing him would help but he definitely shouldn't be Mayor any more

9:40 Nino specifically says most small towns still have at least one sheriff or something; there is probably a county sheriff or two that patrols the area, but there might not be a station in the direct vicinity. I’m not sure how it is outside the USA, but here (at least in Michigan) it’s not uncommon for smaller towns to not have their own dedicated town police and to instead rely on county sheriffs and state troopers. In the world of policing, sheriffs and troopers are usually just different types/levels of police, but they have a lot of overlap. the governor stepping in the pay for police presence in Stardew Valley; definitely not unrealistic either. Edit: after getting to the cutscene where Russell mentions the governor’s concern over “irregularities”, that’s actually one of the reasons I was thinking of lol

Sebastian - Possession, distribution, and personal use of federally illegal marijuana (his bong is an obvious piece of evidence) Shane - Public intoxication & attempted suicide (It's illegal to be visibly under the effects of alcohol in a public setting, and suicide is a crime in some places) Emily - Battery (Same as Elliot, in the event of you completing the objective of delivering her an amethyst for Clint, she kisses you without your consent) Maru - Building a machine capable of ascending to outer space without a permit (Low-flying aircraft is permissible, but any higher requires a legal permit) Gus - Held liable for Pam's accident (Because it's illegal to sell alcohol to someone if they're clearly inebriated) Krobus - Theft (I can't find it online, but I could've sworn he mentioned taking his items from the Pelican Town residents to replenish his store's stock.) Lewis - Tax evasion & siphoning government funds for personal use (Made evident by his personal project of a solid gold statue) Linus - Public urination (He has to relieve himself somewhere, and his tent doesn't have a bathroom... though neither does our farmhouse, thinking about it...) Also for Elliot aren’t you already dating him when that cut scene happen 🤨 for Krobus they mention that sometimes they finds stuff in the sewer, which wouldn’t make it theft. But you could consider them a fugitive and Marlon and the Wizard are aiding and betting hiding a fugitive. Also Adultery isn’t a criminal offense in most states it’s either a misdemeanor or it’s considered a civil matter.

Like I get that maybe art isn't their forte, but what is it with most npc mods using the same portrait template? Like, looking 1/3 to the left or right isn't the only pose 😭 look at Elliots side profile and Wizard hunched over! Their character portrait has *character* to it! Also, Shanons design has too much going on with it. With the 2 streaks of color on already natural lighter hair. The blushing is egregious as well.
