I love that this was the finale since it's so built into Ina's hololive experience. From banishing her family from the house during karaoke to not being able to get through this song without crying. I remember tearing up the first time she *did* get through this song without stopping because because I knew what the song meant to her. And this is just the next step with it.

@@CZfrost its an OP for the anime Blue Period. Its about the mc who embarks a journey into art school despite being a newbie but is very good at other subjects. He chose that path because he rather venture into something unknown than going to the predictable life with his current education and normal job with it. For Ina, it is the same and she was going for the art route which is something she is very predictable about the future, instead, she went for the unknown - vtubing.

It's not dumb to feel happy for them. There's a real person behind the fictional name and face, a real person with real emotions and experiences. The persona is just a layer of anonymity spiced up with kayfabe. It's just like how Daft Punk used costumes on set. We all knew they aren't robots, but fans played along with it while enjoying their music and performances.

It's still crazy to me that this never got featured on either Hololive's official or Ina's channel as a standalone video similar to other members segmenting their lives (Kanata being the first one off the top of my head). This is easily one of the better performances out of 3D lives because despite Ina not being as "gifted" as other members she very clearly conveyed her emotions through this and the ending is enough to make a grown tako cry

Maybe I'm just a sentimental bastard but You could really feel the emotion in Ina's whole concert, but this performance in particular made me tear up in the airport

You are not the only one. She is singing "for real". Thats how i feel from listening diffrent singers. She s singing to "show" or "reach" some emotions to the public. Obviously she is trying hard improving in the sing, but in this last music she was trying something more than singing. For me is pretty clear she is "singing" to show gratitude, for her friends and for her fans. Thats why we feel the emotions even if it's not the best accurate singer. A lot of hololive members can do it for ex: Suisei, Kobo, Calli, Towa. Thats all i can remember without looking.
