Personally I loved the Wii U, but it represents a greatly missed opportunity. The two screen integration was severely underused (aside from maps and inventory on the fly) and, aside from Pikmin 3, the strategy genre (which intuitively was a perfect fit for the gamepad) was virtually absent.

Started so strong. Pikmin 3 demonstration was awesome, the Zombi U presentation was awesome, but a 3-minute video explaining what the buttons on the GamePad are? They've thankfully learned their lesson about assuming their customers are incredibly dumb and don't know that triggers are usually used for shooting games. Nintendo have been on a roll ever since 2014's E3. I'm stoked for this year.

Just want to make that correction. The Wii U's RAM contains 2GB of RAM-- 1GB for games and 1GB for the system's OS... and it also contains GPGPU. It's THAT powerful for an economical price of $300 to $350.

This presentation was totally awesome. I really enjoyed it so very much. I'm so very excited for the Nintendo Wii U to be relieced. I can't wait to try all of the new games for the system. Even my friends are excited for it too. I love how we're able to connect with our gaming friends like Reggie said. I loved watching the dancers dance for Just Dance 4. I even love listening to the people sing for Sing (Working Title). I'm really looking forward to Nintendo Wii U. Oh yeah!!! :)

1. It's similar to the 3DS Screen, but it's a bit better actually, because your finger works as well. It's not like an Apple Touchscreen however. 2. Yes, it comes with a sensor bar, but it's only used for the Wii Controllers, the Wii U GamePad itself doesn't need one.

The creator or Super Smash also made Kid Icarus Uprising. Well, he finished Kid Icarus Uprising right as it came out. It came out March 23rd. That makes it about 2 1/2 months ago. He started making SSB3D/Wii U right after. So he's been working on it for about 2 1/2 months. He can't have possibly had a full Super Smash done by E3.

Here's my advice for Nintendo for next year: Go with your idea of peripheral segments (Nintendo Direct, Developer Roundtable, Software Showcase) and do a separate presentation on all of your casual games/experiences. This would include Wii Fit, Just Dance 4 and Sing. This way, the main conference can be composed entirely of bridge and hardcore titles with only a brief reminder to watch the other presentations.

Rayman Legends has only been confirmed for Wii U. They haven't ruled out the possibility of a PS3 or 360 release, but they also haven't said that there will be one. What makes you think ZombiU will be shovelware? It looks like it has potential to me.

Just ordered one so exited, my first wii console. I normaly play pc and ps3 but I am getting wii instead of ps4 and xbox one, not because ps3 is bad but because I need a change. And i just thought nintendos wii u looked better and played better then the others, I am so exited:D
