OK, honest thoughts on the direct: it really wasn’t horrible. There were definitely weird moments (yes, I am directly talking about the Nintendo movie announcement, which was crazy bizarre, but I genuinely can see Chris Pratt pulling off Mario, just remember how crazy people went when the Lego movie was announced and he did a great job), and there were moments that genuinely pissed me off, like the online, but the indie games looked nice, there weren’t too many JRPG‘s, and we got news on a bunch of new Nintendo games, and much needed updates on recently released games. Genuinely, not a bad Nintendo direct. Not mind blowing, but I left with a smile on my face.
