It's funny Emile mentions the whole "Balloon Trip is a game that doesn't get talked about" thing, apparently Sakurai was actually considering the Balloon Kid as a playable fighter back in Smash Bros. Melee, until he only decided to go with Ice Climbers as the obscure NES representative instead.

Like Emile said, the 1-player games are technically multiplayer as well. In the same way Super Mario Galaxy is multiplayer apparently.

Out of all the games in Nintendo Land, this one is by far my favorite one to play whenever I go back to it. If they could find some way to incorporate this game, as well as all of the Nintendo Land to the Switch, I would definitely play it.

It would be neat if Nintendo brought back this franchise for the Switch. I've only played this game briefly with a few friends when it originally launched but it had some really fun modes like the Luigi's Mansion and the Animal Crossing mini-games. I never played the Balloon Trip mode, but it looks like a fun update on the original NES classic.

The wheel videos are from May 2019 or October 2018. I’m guessing May for the last 2 games and now and this was filmed in November 2019. Not sure what order the Nintendo land videos were filmed in because Pikmin was filmed with Tom, Mario chase was filmed when Tom left but with Masae and this was filmed without either of time.

Competitive Attractions are the most prominent in the placement decision since competition is why placements exist. (1st is +3, 2nd is +1, and Last is -1) Other Attractions will be less prominent and will serve as a Tie Breaker to the Competitive Results. [Cooperative Attractions being worth more than Solo ones since more people will have more impact.] (Cooperative: 1st is +3, 2nd is +1, and Last is -1) (Solo: 1st is +1, All others are 0) Pikmin Adventure is decided by the Contribution Sums for victorious runs (The sums for lost runs being the tie-breaker). Nice to hear there are people who like nes games. I've developed a pretty sour opinion of them since aside from technically the first zelda/mario/etc. on nes even though I don't like them, and a few snes games like earthbound/mario rpg I've felt like nes and snes are kind of just filler trash to take the edge off paying for nintendo online. Especially when they won't put any other systems on the switch.
