Ey. 2 pro tips. If you're ever having trouble getting the timing down on something and you just need to slow it down, bring a Wii mote into the mix, point at the screen, and press A. It'll create a time-slow-down bubble. Very handy for area 1 stage 9. In area 3, if at the beginning, you were to go into the leftmost part of it, you receive a 1 up.

@@henryg.8762 Extra extra tip: if you go through the gap in the wooden planks at 7:22 and all the way to the left, you get another 1-up. That means the max lives you could have by the end would be 5 starting lives + 2 secret lives from Course 3 + the highest possible score (Google says that the WR is 19,200) floor divided by 2,000 (which is currently 9 unless someone manages to reach 20,000 or more points). 5 + 2 + 9 = 16 lives by the end.

@@henryg.8762 Actually, I can't remember if this is correct or not, but I think the platform with the barrel on the right at 8:34 may have a 1-up on it as well. That would take the max lives to 17.

What exactly is the requirement to get the “Perfect Run” stamp? Because just now I got the stamp despite running out of time during the final area in stage 4. I did collect every banana but I remember playing perfectly until somewhere in area 4. I’ll take it but you absolutely aced this. (Apparently you just have to clear area 1 and 2 without deaths and 3 and 4 don’t have those requirements.)

I got all stamps too but except for the perfect run stamp you don’t need to clear all courses to get you just need to collect all bananas from courses 1 & 2 that’s why you got the stamp when you skipped the banana on course 3

a tip: course 1 is the same as course 3 but course 3 has some parts missing & changed course 2 is the same as course 4 but course 4 has some parts missing & changed youre welcome for the advice :)

Huh, you're right. I guess you don't need every single banana after all. Bananas are definitely part of the requirement for the stamp though because I had beaten it without dying once and didn't unlock it.

You only need all bananas from the first 2 courses not from the 3rd and 4th courses
