I think a sheath is for katanas and a scabbard is for longswords.

Minor issue it’s a scabbard (hard *traditionally* wooden) not a sheath (soft fabric or leather) but they do the same job minus bend protection

that's not correct. the difference between a scabbard and a sheath is specificity. the word scabbard exclusively refers to a sheath you put a weapon in. sheath does mean the thing you put the wepon in, but it can also refer to a type of dress, your foreskin, the outer coating of electrical cables, a bit of connective tissue that coats your tendons, and a bunch of other stuff.

Couldn’t use a light that way. I think they made it that way to make the look closer to the game because the blade in game is pretty thick and for all of that to be steel, it would be super heavy and even more expensive

In most countries it is illegal to carry real blade more that a few cm/inches long. I don't think Nintendo want anyone to go out and do crimes with their iconic sword.

I’m personally a big fan of my Xbox game pass subscription but I don’t do it for a year I do it for 3 months at a time the same price as one new game. It also finally gives me something to do on my meta quest 2 because if you buy a controller you can play Xbox on it.

He’d have to either alter this swords look or make a new sword. The master sword’s design has only really been exactly the same in 3 games, being Twilight Princess, Breath of The Wild and Tears of The Kingdom. Every other sword has slight differences, or just flat out differences. This prop has a blue hilt, OoT’s sword has a purple hilt with a different grip design. This prop is based off games with the more “realistic” graphics and not the cell shaded, cartoony Wind Waker sword. This prop is also not based off of the master sword (or either of its upgrades) from the swords first appearance in Link to The Past.

I'm not sure how durable this sword is but I ended up getting a sword that was pretty similar and made out of a decently durable metal for about $50 and I still have it so I'm not sure if it was a different version because it looks very similar to yours but maybe it was off brand.
