I would if it's price is matched by great games on launch or fairly reasonable specs.no 120 fps or anything,but a reasonable graphic capability.

I think I would if the specs were 1080p with over 30fps(it doesn't have to be 60 but that would be better)and that's only factoring in if it's a hybrid console like the og switch.i dosent have to blow me away,but it has to sensibly satisfy me.

Sounds reasonable and I totally agree. I guess there's some room for general increase in price anyway due to inflation but it'll be interesting to see which way Nintendo is going to pull. I could also see them increase the price of online services to make up for the manufacturing cost - although then I would hope for a much improved service.

Honestly i just think nintendo can't win this time around, if they make a higher power console, it'll be too expensive and it won't meet sales expectations, if they go for a lower cost then they'll inevitably be hit with another generation of "ew weak mobile console no 4k yucky" from that crowd on twitter who only care about how many teraflops or whatever that a console have. eitherway I think that the console will sell, probably not as well as the original switch, but it won't be another Wii U

You know, I initially thought the same but Nintendo seems to get away with this more easily than other companies. I believe there's a lot of goodwill still towards Nintendo, although you're right, they might be stuck in a quandry here.

I thought the Switch 2 will have an LCD instead of OLED? Or I might be wrong
@gmersdelightКүн бұрын
Good question, this is still a big unknown. OLED would offer greater quality but come at a cost. I can see Nintendo go the same way again by offering two variants of the console perhaps.

Needs to be no more than $349.99

While I know everyone is excited for a potential switch 2 bc switch has far exceeded it's expected lifespan idk why everyone is saying it's coming soon . Even the GameStop employees In my hometown said it was going to release last summer and then it was fall. Historically this just isn't how Nintendo does things. They will never shadow drop an entire console unless it's something smaller like switch lite which wasn't shadow dropped neither was OLED or switch or DS or 3ds or Wii u or Wii or anything ever . First it will be announced and after some time usually a year or so it'll be revealed sometimes announced and revealed at the same time but not usually. Normally it'll be announced at a big event or on their KZbin during a connect then a year or so later it's revealed then a year or so later it's released. Besides we already know Nintendo has an entire year planned for the switch still with what's releasing for 2025 what does that mean for the switch 2? Idk but I do know it's not releasing anytime in the next year.

Fair point. I do feel if this is the case then Nintendo may have missed the right opportunity. The Switch isn't getting any better over time and I think most people, even die-hard Nintendo fans, agree that it's time for something new. So while I don't think they will shadow-drop the console, I believe that this is going to be the release year, especially since the reports about the mainboard going into mass production are amassing. I think we could see an announcement soon-ish.

They should keep the price low Nintendo usually sells multiple systems per household if they make it expensive they will probably lose those extra sales parents will make kids share plus the games from the switch have remained the same since release that’s kind of ridiculous they have to cut the consumer a break somewhere
@gmersdelightКүн бұрын
I agree with the idea but I don't think the console can release at a cost where families would want to afford multiple devices for the same household unless Nintendo starts to increase its subscription prices (which I can totally see them doing though).
@Starkiller_1911Күн бұрын
@ most kids have switches for each kid I would imagine they would try to do the same thing for this system or I hope they keep the price low tbh Nintendo just doesn’t come out with that many AAA games that would earn it the 500 price plus the subscriptions or online are kind of useless I feel like my last year of the top tier was kind of wasted I thought they would drop more stuff than they did :/
@gmersdelightКүн бұрын
As of right now, the subscription feels pointless, especially compared to PS and Xbox services. I could see Nintendo changing something here to rectify that issue. But agreed, if they aim to get a console in every child's room, it'll be a tough task.

@ yeah I kinda wondered how other ppl felt about the online subscriptions I only play 1 game that needs the online and even that game is coming to an end
@gmersdelightКүн бұрын
@@Starkiller_1911 Same here. Then again, I play multiplayer games on PC anyway, so I have no real need for any subscription services on consoles.
