Surprised at the mixed response to Odyssey and 3D Mario's in general. The developers are some of the best in the world and this is looking like one of the top games of the show. Looks like a unique, full and fun sandbox that has hardcore polish to me. Impressions sound good so far too.

Fraser didn't have much of a reaction to the Prime 4 announcement. Kinda surprised by that. Edit: Fraser, if you like 2D Metroid so much, you should play AM2R. It's basically the 3DS game they just announced, but with beautiful 2d spritework. It's a fan remake of Metroid II.

Yeah, Nintendo won; Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Switch (which I won't get but I know everyone else will) and Mario Oddssey are big announcements. Sony had nothing new to show, and the best thing Xbox had was a large diverse of games and indies like Cuphead, which I'm most excited for. This years E3 overall has been pretty boring I will admit.

interesting direct Reggie was right, interesting reveals some crying like the dubbing overall Nintendo went in, solid A, good reveals and line up for the rest of '17 and good surprises for '18 and onwards

for me my list this year from best to worst would go Ubisoft(for the number of new high quality games even if i dont care for most of them) and Nintendo(for the games im more interested in that are actually coming out this year) in first then Microsoft(I've never owned a Xbox and i dont care for shooters or race sims but some of there indies looked interesting)>Sony(barely showed anything new the only thing they showed that interest me is spider-man and there was too much vr for there hr of a show)> Bethesda>ea and i never saw the other two because i know nothing of devolver and really does anyone watch the pc show.

I might give Microsoft the win, just for DBF. Sony showed nothing new except VR, which I don't give a damn about. Ubisoft wins E3, but Nintendo is a second place, gecause Mari made me giddy. But overall, Nintendo only slightly edges Microsoft. If I was scoring by who brought big new reveals, only Ubisoft would make the list. That said, EA sucks and gets deadlast.

THey're having a massive presence at E3. Huge booth, Tree house with reveals as well. They showed more new stuff in 25 minutes than pretty much everyone except for Microsoft did. They had like 100 minutes though. Cant compete with that.

I never understand this when people say it. They showed up,showed loads of games and then streamed actual gameplay from these games for hours and are also doing so for two more days plus organised tournaments. But i guess just showing trailers from last year (SONY) is deemed to be turning up.Whatever Nintendo do will always draw criticism where the other 2 get a pass for just showing flashy videos

They just don't want to bore everyone to death like everyone else does with endless talking. Plus, they have 3 days of Treehouse where they are talking about the games in detail and make even more announcements. And they made many announcements in the short time, so it's not like the 25 minutes mattered.

They do a Nintendo Direct almost every month. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a brand new game next month honestly...

No way is the 3DS only popular because people can't find a Switch. I really don't care about the Switch or the games on it, but my 3DS is the only thing I still bother with from Nintendo, and it's the same for my gaming friends too. On another note, Nintendo are seriously boring me with absolutely nothing new game wise, always Mario/Zelda/Pokémon.

I didn't even try watching Nintendo's conference. I never played Metroid, so I don't feel the hype. Ubisoft takes the win, Nintendo doesn't get into the list, but Devolver did well with the skit. After that, it was boring. 1. Ubisoft, 2. Microsoft, 3. Sony, 4. EA

Nintendo should really stop trying to compete on a competitive level with Sony and Xbox. Nintendo is just a gimmick accessory thats bleeds cheese.
