@@Zach90888 I would love it release in autumn, I still think it’s at least a year two title. I’m betting we get the new Pokémon before the next AC game. Which would be a good first year holiday release. I bet AC comes spring year 2 still if not, fall year 2. That’s just an educated guess. It’s based on the average release schedule of the games, which is just under 4 years but also realizing with Nintendo it being now a core game (top 10 franchise) it makes no sense to rush a lot of them out the first year. They will spread them out. I bet it’s close to done though and year 2 makes too much sense, it gives them a title to sell more systems with in year 2.

I'm not sure how I feel about the joycons plugging in. A bit worried about them popping out. The size too. I think everything getting bigger will be great for adults, but it also makes it less travel friendly and accessible for kids.

The fine print says some Switch games might not be backwards compatible with the Switch 2. Though I'm sure that doesn't include ACNH I'm worried which games won't be compatible and why.

I think that’s referring to Labo stuff and mini games that use the IR camera. This is also true for the OLED apparently

I don’t expect to see a new AC game TOO soon - in the past few years it’s been tradition that there’s a special version of the console releasing along with the game and this wouldn’t make that much sense on launch. I think it would make much more sense for them to release a new Splatoon installment first. However I don’t think we’ll wait as long as we did for ACNH after the original Switch release. Perhaps it won’t be super unlikely to see an announcement this year however!
