What do you think about these Switch 2 leak? And when do you think Nintendo will officially be revealing the Switch 2?

I still don't believe they'd be magnetic. Much less electro magnetic. Electro magnets eat up a ton of power, and it would be too much of a risc to have magnetic joycons. One good jolt and you'd be left holding the joycons and have a broken screen on the floor. It makes no sense.

Who knows? Thanks for your comment! All the leaks about the joy-cons I've seen mention that they'll be magnetic. And it's electro magnetic, because a simple magnet wouldn't keep them sturdy on the console. Technology has come a long ways and maybe they found a way for it to not eat up a ton of power. But yeah, if both joy-cons would be released at the same time, the console would fall to the floor. If they do have this technology, I'm betting they'll have a mechanism where only one joy-con can be released at a time. But we'll just have to wait and see if this is true or not, and if it's even a good idea or a train wreck.

If the images depict a prototype, okay then, but I hope this is not the final product. When you look back at the existing Switch’s history and feedback, you would think that Nintendo would have by now wrote down a list of complaints. Some have been addressed like this system kickstand, better stereo audio quality, the OLED display; others haven’t like the cursed Joy Con stick drift that Nintendo constantly refuses to address. Despite the pressure of the lawsuit, it ends up winning the case. Now I could go on and mention about Joy Con ergonomics, but that’s not too much of issue since there are alternatives for comfortable handling. Built-in mics for voice chat… (Haven’t anybody ever stopped and asked why Nintendo refuses voice chat?… Well… let the folks playing COD answer that…) Not anything I want to get entangled with… And to further address the matter, ever wondered why we still haven’t gotten an DS in NSO yet? It’s because we don’t have a 2nd screen, but even if there are ways, just holding the Switch sideways is repeating the same complaints when people held the Wii U Gamepad sideways. So NSO better get better if it’s gearing up for that… Not to mention system color scheme. The colors for a system has to stand out. White, black, purple, gray, etc. The color of the prototype system appears lame and lacks personality, so I doubt it’s going to launch like that… As for specs… I doubt it would match the PS5 and the XBS, but it should have enough to compete with the potential PS6 and XBOX (???). While the PS5 and XBOX Series have the horsepower, but said horsepower is still seen on the previous gen systems… SSDs or not… Even to this day, the generation leap between previous generation systems and the existing hardware wasn’t that big… That’s pretty much because no company stood up to take advantage of the new hardware and even if there is and it did, the number of exclusives are too few. That and some made their way into PC. PC! That thing that overpowers home consoles, but still met with mandatory upgrades! So from this point, Nintendo doesn’t have to make a graphical leap, but it better at least (for once) answer to the 7 years of feedback. That Switch Pro no-show debacle of 2021 was absolutely unjustifiable, especially when fans were hyped for an orchestration made up entirely by clowns who desired nothing more than personal gain that never would’ve gotten them anywhere to begin with, and yet most fans never learned from their mistakes since then…

Yeah, it's an earlier prototype. There've been more updates since then and I'll have another video this week with the details. The Joy-Cons are rumored to have magnet hall sense technology to eliminate the stick-drift. And there's a different U-shaped kickstand rumored for the Switch 2. I also don't think the Switch 2 would be a match for PS5 and XBS, but it's still a huge upgrade from the Switch. And I bet Nintendo's waiting for an NSO update to have DS and Gamecube games when the Switch 2 comes out. Maybe there'll be a 2nd screen on it that we haven't seen yet on the final version of the Switch 2. Or, maybe you can also connect to the dock with a cable to play with the handheld and your TV at the same time to get the 2nd screen.
