Nothing wrong with lookin after your pennies and waiting for the free version of Disney Dreamlight Valley, I'm doing exactly the same ... not to mention waiting for Disney Speedstorm (a Disney themed free-to-play kart racer), and also Star Wars Hunters (a free-to-play Star Wars arena shooter). So much 'free' Disney gaming to look forward to on Switch in 2023 ... hopefully :-)

I'm waiting for Mineko's Night Market as well, I added the game to my wish list the moment I saw the announcement trailer. The art style and coziness of the game is what drew me in!

Solid take, mate. I just started playing games again after a 12 year break and I'm not super clued in either so this list is perfect. I loved playing Persona 3 and 4 when I was in highschool so I'm thrilled for Golden, but I'm not sure if FES would be better than Portable for Persona 3.

i've only played xenoblade chronicles 3 but absolutely loved it! if you enjoy sci-fi stories and games with a very heavy story focus (there are a LOT of cutscenes), you might like this one!

currently playing through fire emblem three houses for the very first time! and omg idk what to do with myself once i finish the game :’) im so attached to all the characters already ahhh not a huge fan of the new FE game art style….but excited to play it toooo

You don't need to play the previous 2 Ryza games to play Ryza 3. There will be returning characters and probably a recap, but each Atelier game is standalone (and yes Ryza looks so gorgeous in her third game aksjdjkfjf 😳)

I'm definitely getting Fire Emblem Engage. I loved Three Houses. I didn't like Three Hopes that much, although I didn't get super far in it. The gameplay was ok, but not my style of game. I was a bit confused about the story because it was the same characters, but a different story. I'm very excited for LoZ: Tears of the Kingdom! A couple others I'm looking forward to are Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. I might play Persona 3 and 4 because the 5th game was fun, but I'm not sure if I'll want to play another couple really long JRPGs. We'll see. They're coming to game pass, so I won't have to buy them at least.

yeahh i didn't love the warriors gameplay enough to pick up three hopes, but that's interesting that it's a different story too, i totally thought it was the same! game pass always seems like such a great deal haha, i wish the switch had something like that!
