Literally the only games that I have any interest in was the new Zelda game and Prime 4 kinda disappointed no TP & WW or prime 2 & 3 but I’ll take what I can get I’ll just play them on PC. At least this time around I had something that I had interest in unlike some directs were nothing is of interest to me. Overall it was ok

If Metroid Prime 4 is indeed a cross gen game I am hoping they are awesome enough to have only one version in the eShop so if you buy the Switch version you will get the Switch 2 features if you later upgrade to that system.

Thanks for the updates in such a short video. The Zelda game it's still a 3D game, only with another stile. The character can move in all 3 directions of the room and the camera seems to move as well. It has only a more isometric stile. A 2d Zelda moves only up and down, and left or right 😅

Initially I was disappointed - but I think that was because I didn’t get anything that I was after; namely WW and TP. However after reflecting on it I think the Direct was pretty strong.

@@EarnestGamer I don't know who you are but everyone had its own expectations on the Switch 7 years ago. I had only one hope all the years. I've gone through death multiple times heavy hardmanship but I always hoped for a sign of a series which I had the most fun in my life with. I own many games of Nintendo to support them even 2 switch consoles, but nothing is comparable to a Star Fox game on the OLED Switch Screen to go. There are many Marios, Zeldas even Donkey Kongs, 2 Mario Partys everyones favourite series has multiple games on the Switch. But Star Fox has Star Link battle for Atlas or Smash Bros as a Fighter only. Let me be furios, as I'm not the only one missing this series deeply.

I'm reading mixed comments of either disappointment, excitement, and meh reactions.. Nintendo can't please everyone, no company can. At this point, Nintendo made a few shadow mentions/release announcements as a surprise, so who knows what they really have in the bag? I honestly think Nintendo is doing great on their business decisions compared to the other companies like Xbox and PlayStation. I was big on PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo, and I'm seeing the better sides come to the surface. I liked this Direct, taking out any expectations for OG Gamecube ports like TP and WW, the Direct has interesting release announcements

A New Mario and Luigi RPG,New 2D Zelda where u play as Zelda,Funko Fusion and Lego Horizons adventure gameplay can't wait to play them!,DK Country Returns HD,That Farm Monster Taming game which looks like it plays like Pikman,and Dragon Quest HD 3 Remake along with 1 and 2 are the highlights for me! The Direct was an A Plus for me.

Yeah im not a big Matio fan but brothership looks nice. Got a reserved copy of championship. The 60 dollar one. Mio looks nice and looks like a hollow knight game. With the hello kitty one. I literally said the same that it looks like an animal crossing offshoot game. NSO is great that four swords perfect dark turok and metroid zm. DK im getting hopefully. Not sure how I feel about this new Zelda game. It feels like its going to play so slow and too much thinking for a 2D game. Zelda games need sword combat. I'm a traditionalist in this respect

Experiments are always good, Zelda is about thinking a lot, I don't know what you mean, just now you ll be thinking a bit more, I mean you had to think a lot in classical Zelda games, you had more thinking than fighting there, so I don't see any issue here

Its not a zelda game for me. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to this. I dony like experimentation. Bring back the old puzzle solving zelda style games like Ocarina of Time with Link and traditional dungeons

I ve played ocarina once and having Goron sword and master sword doesn't make this game easier, you always have to think of the strategy how to fight against different enemies, the only one game that ignores it is breath of the wild and totk, you can be a one cell amoeba and still win, just swing the sword, you don't need to care about any tactics, in older zeldas if you have no tactics you gonna be annihilated even with 20 hearts....

I'm a traditional zelda fan that enjoys my linear open zone exploration with traditional sword combat and dungeon puzzle solving with link as yhe protagonist. I am not a fan of all of this "zelda" experimentation especially with TOTK with building your own vehicles, weapons to attack enemies etc. Its just too overwhelming for me. And definitely Zelda as the main character...just dont find it entertaining to have a mechanic where you use other enemies to fight on your behalf as was demonstrated in the trailer of this new game . Such a gimmicky mechanic. I just dont like it. I'm entitled to my own opinion and you are as well. Sure the new zelda formats of Botw and totk sell and cater to the mass population. Money is enticing to nintendo. But the majority of these modern day zelda players have no clue what built the franchise and it was the traditional games like OOT, A Link to the Past and Zelda NES that introduced the classic combat and puzzle solving elements without all these gimmicky features. Legend of Zelda should always revolve around Link as the main character and perhaps support characters like Zelda that you can play as for part of the quest . Not the entire thing.

​@@alexalexius2688BTW I've beat he older zelda games at least 20 times or more. Except for Zelda 2 which annoyed me. I dont necessarily have to use any tactics and never get anhilated. When you have to think to hard and have to get too creative with killing enemies (exception would be bosses and mini bosses) then it becomes overwhelming. The thinking should be for puzzle solving, quests, dungeons, locating collectibles etc. Precisely why I'm not a fan of all this experimenting with the new zelda formula. But what do I know. I'm just one person

This Nintendo Direct was lit🔥 Goosebumps all through it. Very excited for the new Zelda game. Already shared with my daughter, she is going to be very happy. The Mario and Luigi game looks amazing, DK it’s definitely a beautiful surprise! And of course Metroid Prime 4🫡 I am looking forward to a bunch of Nintendo gameplay. Also, the NSO got some love. Really looking forward to playing Turok! since it has a bunch of nostalgia for me. Dragon Quest is definitely a must buy for me since I am looking forward to a nice classic RPG experience. Though I wanted some news on WW, TP and some hints on OoT or LTTP remakes, still, very promising and awesome games for the Nintendo Switch. They gave the Switch some new life before the Switch 2 arrival💯

I am glad they add The Legend of Zelda Four Swords and Metroid Zero Mission for GBA and Turok Dinosaur Hunter and Perfect Dark for N64. I just hope they add Super Smash Bros 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Tooie, and more games in the future. As for M rated games I hope they add Resident Evil 2 for N64

For me this show is a C. Disappointed we didn't get Metroid 2 & 3 and F-Zero. That donkey Kong game . Not sure if i'm going to grab it since i do have it on the 3DS. The Zelda gameplay seems interesting. I Iike the direction they went with it and stuck with that art style as i like it a lot. Metroid 4 looked awesome and i think that was a sneak look at the Switch 2 version but i could be wrong about that..Later

Great Direct! I’ve never played the Mario & Luigi games but this one looks fun and I’ve really been enjoying Paper Mario TTYD so I’ll probably like this game too. Switch Sports update and new Mario Party were great surprises. And Metroid 4 looks like Halo but on Switch, which I’m super down for! I’ve never been into Zelda nor Donkey Kong but I am happy for those fanbases I’m sure they are pumped for this. Only thing I wish would have been gameplay footage for Pokémon Legends Z-A

Honestly donkey Kong country return should’ve been in August of this year instead of 2025 release. other than that, the Nintendo direct was pretty stellar in which I gave it a nine out of 10. with Nintendo 64 unleashing mature rated games to the service that means the floodgates have been open with possibilities with conquers bat fur and killer instinct gold as the next game for me to try out. Honestly, I was hoping Capcom would release power stone one and 2 foot of switch because that game is a hidden gem in the fighting game community that needs more love Not the first party games. I’m interested in this super Mario party jamboree the new Zelda echoes of wisdom and the new Mario and Luigi RPG game because those three games caught my attention, but Nintendo world championships next month on actually thinking long and hard about it.

Tbh, idk why you’re hyped for DKCR HD. You baffle me with that hype. This to me feels kinda like a slap in the face of everyone who was wanting something more out of the DK franchise than this. I mean is this any way to celebrate 30 years of Donkey Kong? Is this game really gonna generate the hype and rake in the numbers they are trying to generate with the park expansion? Is this really the game they are going to gamble will get them those numbers? Why in the heck is it gonna take them till January 2025 to release!? to me, while the game seems to perform well and seems to have improved graphics, this idea that Nintendo is only gonna humor the DK fans with a game that’s now been ported 3 times and will take them 8 months to complete is total slop. Literally, I was thinking, did Nintendo forget about the park expansion and that they need to promote it? And not to mention, still no DK64? Now I’m confused on the holdup. Everyone get your WiiU's out, dust off the gamepad and fire up TP and WW. That is the only way we are going to play those games. Not going to be released on the Switch. However, bummed we did not get ports of MP 2 & 3. Will replay those on the WiiU when I get back to the states.

I've been saying this a while, but it doesn't make sense for Nintendo to release TP/WW on Switch and have every single mainline Zelda available on one console. It makes much more financial sense to save these titles for Switch's successor to encourage sales.

At this point I'm going to stop holding out hope for windwaker and twilight princess. However, I am happy about the Zelda game we did get because now I get to kick ass with Zelda herself and I'm here for it and it comes out like 4 days before my birthday so I know what my husband will be getting me. And also I'm very happy about perfect dark because oh my god all in all that is my favorite N64 game. I would also love if they gave us nightmare creatures cause I love that game too.

this was a great direct with a lot of great titles to look forward for, although not a fan of mario party motion control style, and no mention of metroid prime 2-3 says to me not a release until next june direct time. Please people stop talking about WW and TP, its not coming until the release of next gen console, the games have been ready for a long time

I do not feel mertriod prime 4 was a switch title that has to be a switch 2 hardware it looked way to detailed and the frame rate was easily 60fps u can tell the detail was something we never ever gotten in a switch game before EVER.

To be honest this Direct made me put my wallet away....sorry to say. We didn't even get a release date for Epic Mickey ( we only know its in 2024) and I already pre-ordered it. Although I'm happy for those who been waiting for Metroid Prime 4 ( ugh still have to wait till 2025), but at less they got to see it's coming. And yes nice to see Donkey Kong. It was disappointing yet again no WW or TP......glad I still have them for GC and Wii U.

Also you might be comparing this to other games showcases where instead of actual gameplay they show cutscenes and cinematics and heap on expensive hype for what will inevitably be disappointments of games that cost you an arm and a leg in micro-transactions. People come away from those other companies' showcases thinking that they just saw something amazing, when all the games will suck. Then they watch Nintendo showcases and think they seem kind of boring when most games pretty much rock.

Honestly, I'm both a little excited and a little disappointed. Seems like this direct is really heavy on RPG style games, which if you like those that's great but not really my style. The only games I'm really interested in this time around are the NSO updates and Echoes of Wisdom.

same. I still have donkey kong on my 3ds and I would much rather have had twilight princes and/or wind waker than a apparently woke Zelda game.
